I can’t wait to the CFL training camps start in a few weeks but until then there is some interesting news in my other two favourite sports. The NFL 2016 draft took place on April 28-30. Rd 1 was very interesting TV. I believe that the Las Angeles Rams and also the Philadelphia Eagles overpaid for the two Quarterbacks taken number one and two. Finally the Cleveland Browns got smart and excepted some great picks for the number two overall pick. I also actualy felt a bit sorry for Laremy Tunsil. Sure he was a idiot for letting someone film him smoking a bong with a gas mask on and then removing the gas mask to show that was definily hm but for someone to go to the extent that they did minutes before the draft took place and posting the video from two or so years ago was not good. I was impressed with the way he conducted himself in the interview with Deion Sanders on the NFL Network when he was selected number 13 by the Miami Dolphins. Laremy was only weeks ago predicted to go number one overall by many of the NFL draft experts. Whoever broke into his twitter account to post the video should be and I believe will be in criminal trouble as the drop from a top five pick to number 13 could cost him millions of dollars in a NFL contract.
It was also great to see the Denver Broncos my favourite team since 1991 draft Australian Adam Gotsis in the second round. This was the highest a Australian has ever been drafted. Adam had played Australian Rules Football in Victoria Australia before he attended Georgia Tech in the NCAA.
