Hear from leaders at Indie Hops, Lagunitas Brewing, Deschutes Brewery, Ninkasi Brewing, WildCraft Cider Works, and Oregon State University, as they explore interesting topics specific to barrel-aged beer.

1pm: WildCraft Cider Works Owner & Founder Sean Kelly:  “Cider Craft” -Cider is so much more than a beverage. It’s a product of stewardship and community relationships. It’s also a reflection of the landscape. This ‘learn and tour’ segment – including a tour of the WildCraft Cidery – will have you craving wild fruits!

2pm: TBD

3pm: Deschutes Brewing Barrel Master Ryan Schmeige: “How To Put the Wood in Woody” – Bet you didn’t know that Barrel Master was a thing? It’s an art from start to finish. Learn all about the skill that is at the flavor heart of your most pleasurable beers.

Yeah, neither have we, which is why we cannot wait to see and smell the aromas from Lagunitas’ live “Volcano Hop” demonstration. About The Little Woody Series

The adventure began in Bend, Oregon with the original Little Woody and continues to spread. The festival is based on the enthusiasm and excitement for small batch wood-aged beers, and the other clever concoctions that local and regional brewers dream of. Whiskey tasting and cider experiments are never far from a gnomes elbow. The event has now spread across the Northwest to Medford and Eugene delivering the cheer of great brews, spirits and of course, gnomes.
