Australia Temporary Work Visa

Australia Temporary Work Visa (subclass 400) is a short stay temporary visa that allows an applicant to enter Australia to:

Participate in non-ongoing, short-term and highly specialized work

At the invitation of an Australian organization take part in an event(s) on a non-ongoing basis

A person can stay for a maximum of 6 weeks on this Temporary Work Visa to Australia.

Subclass 457 Visa

A work permit for foreign professionals is the Subclass 457 Visa. Foreign skilled professionals who are nominated and/or sponsored to work in Australia for a temporary period can apply for the Subclass 457 Visa. This visa holder can stay and work in Australia for up to 4 years.

Australia Temporary Graduate Visa

Overseas students who finished their education in Australia can apply for an Australia Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) Graduate Work Stream. A person can stay and work in Australia for a temporary period under the Graduate Work Stream of the Australia Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485).

Designed for overseas students, Graduate Work Stream is for students who graduate with qualifications and skills that pertain to an occupation on the SOL (Skilled Occupation List). An Australia Temporary Graduate Visa in this stream is granted for 18 months.

Overseas students who graduate with an eligible qualification can apply under the Post-Study Work Stream of the Temporary Graduate Visa. Only those students who applied for, and received their Australian Student Visa on or after 5th November 2011, are eligible to for the Australia Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) Post-Study Work Stream. Depending on the qualification of the person who is applying for this Visa, it can be granted for up to 4 years.
