SUP racing or Stand Up Paddle Board Amazing Races are competitions which are done using a surf board with a paddle that is single-bladed. This sport originally came from the Hawaiian Islands in the 1960s. With its introduction to mainland USA in California by a Vietnam veteran named Rick Thomas, the sport became globally known until surfers transformed and made the sport more competitive through SUP racing showdowns.
Competitions
In line with this, SUP board races became very popular especially in some parts of United States where organizers hold the competition for various categories among males and females. For the mens division, the top three contenders are considered to be Cory Ferguson, Mike Hainault and Wade Woody Anderson.
