FRIDAY, JUNE 17th
11 am to 7 pm – US Brig Niagara open for tours. Fox’s Dock
The U.S. Brig Niagara is a replica of Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry’s victorious flagship during the Battle of Lake Erie in the War of 1812. 5 pm – Pyrate Fest Opening Cannon! Downtown DeRivera Park Stage.
Come take part in this year’s official cannon ceremony with a stage show, plenty of cannon fire, and a few fun surprises!

SATURDAY, JUNE 18th
10 am to 5 pm – Pyrate Encampment & Marketplace open. East end of Downtown DeRivera Park.
Come be a part of the typical pirate life during the early 1800s. See demonstrations on weapons, games, medicine, and everyday ways of life. Complete with arts, crafts, fun & games for the little ones.

11 am to 5 pm – Black Powder Demonstrations with Cannon Master Bob Gilmore. Center of Downtown DeRivera Park.
Bob Gilmore and his crew have years of traditional black powder experience in movies, television, and recreating weapons of the past. Don’t miss out on the chance to see these historical cannons come back to life.
10 am to 1 pm – Costume Contest Registration for both the adult and kids costume contests. Pyrate Market Place Information Table.
10:30 am and 4:30 pm – Enlisted 1812 Soldiers Black Powder Demonstration. Cannon Firing Area
Enlisted Soldiers from Perry’s Monument will join Bob Gilmore and his crew to demonstrate the difference between a Pirate and an Enlisted man in weapons, dress, and way of life during the 1800s.
11 am – Captain Willie “The Great Lakes Pirate” Kids Show. Downtown DeRivera Park Stage
Aye Matey! Cap’n Willie is a children’s edutainer who blends musical interaction with accidental learning. Acting as an advocate to teach children boating and water safety, help raise awareness about the Great Lakes, and keep kids interested and entertained! Visit captnwillie.com for more information.
1 pm – Pyrate Skirmish! Cannon Firing Area.
During this stage show families will be entertained with comedy, action, and adventure as the Pyrates of Put-in-Bay try to seize control of the island from the military strong hold in the park. You will laugh, cheer and cover your ears as you witness this fun show.
2 pm – Walk Like A Pyrate Parade. Meet at the corner of Mossback’s & The Boardwalk in DeRivera Park.
This walking parade is open to any and all Pyrates! So, grab your husband, grandma, kids, or newly acquainted friends and come be a part of a celebration that only Put-in-Bay can provide!
2 pm – Kids Pyrate Costume Contest. Immediately following the Walk Like A Pyrate Parade! Downtown DeRivera Park Stage.
2 pm and 3 pm – Adult Costume Contest. Immediately following the Kids Costume Contest on the Downtown DeRivera Park Stage.
Open to all Pyrates near and far! The grand prize is a trip for two to the Cayman Islands in 2016 during their Pirate Fest! Including Flights, Hotel Stay, and a Dive Package. So, dust off your cutlass and join the fun.

Jack Sparrow and the Krew of the Black Pearl take your little Pyrates on a number of fun adventures. Including sword fighting, swearing kids into his Pyrate Krew, and handing out fun Pyrate names. Free to all!
8 am to 9 am – Check in Stein Hospice Pyrate 5K Fun Run. Racers will be able to check in with race officials at the start line to the race.
9:30 am – Stein Hospice Pyrate 5K Fun Run Starts! Catawba Ave Downtown Put-in-Bay.
This 4th Annual Pyrate Run benefits Stein Hospice. So, dust of your running or walking shoes and come take part in this year’s race. The race follows a scenic route along the shores of Put-in-Bay and offers a number of prizes in different categories. To Register and for more information please visit steinhospice.org

Join Jack Sparrow and his mighty Krew in one of the most popular Pyrate events we offer. Help Jack go on a town wide search for buried treasure. Finding clues, performing fun activates, and solving riddles along the way. Free to join!
3:30 pm – Antique Car Parade. Downtown
Put-in-Bay is the only community in the state of Ohio who is proud to hold an antique car parade every Sunday. Watch as show cars from the past and present snake their way around the down town area.

MONDAY, JUNE 20th
1 pm to 5 pm – Day sail Aboard the US Brig Niagara. Downtown Fox’s Dock
“Few experiences are more rare and majestic then the opportunity to witness first-hand a tall ship under full sail!” So come experience the golden age of sail on a working tail ship. The trip will take you on a four hour sail on the open lake around the Lake Erie Island. This is a must do trip of a life time! Tickets are 0.00 and must be purchased in advance. 5 pm to 6 pm – Cardboard Boats will be on display for public voting. Downtown DeRivera Park across from the Public Boat Ramp.
6 pm – 8th Annual Cardboard Cup. Public Boat Ramp across from DeRivera Park.
The annual Cardboard Boat Races are an opportunity for local islanders, business, and visitors to have a little fun. Watch as four person teams must navigate a boat made entirely of cardboard through Lake Erie while racing an opponent. Join us as we cheer on 10 to 15 boats all sailing to take down last year’s winners The Boardwalk!
