Wolf blew me away the first time I saw him at the Sunnyside. Amazing talent as a guitar player and singer. Supports the up and coming young talent like my 21 year old daughter. Great guy! We owe Wolf a visit before July ends.

Comment from Rick:

I am a blues drummer trying to get into the loop and find other musicians the rehearse and gig with.
Is it possible for me to sign in on a Sunday to play with a band for some ex poser and maybe find some other musicians who maybe looking for a drummer.
Thanks!

Comment from WOLF:

Some times its hard to control other players volume, but i try the best I can. I'm Very, Very Sorry

Comment from 52eob:

Wolf 9/2006: "This Jam is great, if you keep your volume low you'll sound fantastic"

Remember saying that Wolfie? What happened… yikes! The music is awesome but would sound so much better if it wasn't blowing out my ear drums.

Comment from Wolf:

I would like to thank every one that comes to our Blues Jam, we've been doing this Blues Jam for about 4 years now and, it just keeps getting better with great new players and our regular friends, Thanks again for being there. The Jam is for the players first and for me second.
WOLF

Comment from TJ:

I went to the jam for the first time 2 weeks ago. Wolfie was a very friendly host and the band and all the jammers were friendly too. Wolfie brought up people in the order they signed up as well. I went alone and felt very comfortable and welcome. It's great to make new friends.

Comment from Roger:

What type of keyboard do have available to use?

Comment from DixieHarpDog:

Incredible musicians, all stars in their own right!
Great equipment, excellent sound, and nice people

Comment from Hank Wallace:

Awesome jam, best around real pros, Wolf good job. Its always a blast best music around should have to pay to hear this stuff

Comment from Hank Wallace:

best open mike around, good solid players.ready to play sun 23rd,Great job and effort on Wolf's part.

Comment from Jeff Garber:

I am undeniably the biggest open-mic loser there is. This afternoon, I called the tele # and was told "yes… blues jam… until 10 PM usually". The woamn who answered even went to check to make sure of the time when it ends. I got there only to be told, "no jam tonight. It's a benefit". I guess the only way this website will work is if negative comments are allowed to remain. Otherwise, what's the point ? I use my real name unlike many I've seen and heard around here. Why hide what I believe ?

Comment from dlb:

this is one of the best jams around. thanks in large part to wolfie!

Comment from J. Slick:

GOOD stuff

Comment from rich:

All I can say is WOW! Wolf runs a terrific jam and the players here are absolutely top notch. This was my first time and the guys made me feel welcome. An absolute BLAST!

Comment from Natalie:

This jam is great. The people are great. I play acoustic, folk. They did let me up to play a few songs by myself which is generous. It's not really a folk environment but they were cool enough to let me do my thing. I really enjoyed staying and listening. There is some phenomenal talent there. Highly recommend.

Comment from jm:

The jam hosted by Wolf & the Jam Daddies is by far the best. Wolfie makes sure everyone is allowed equal playing time and the volume is controlled. everyone is called in the order in which they signed up. first one on the list is first one called up. I have heard a lot of blues players and this man blows most away. The food is a cajun style buffet, or for those who do not like spicey there is also a full bar menu. I have never been disappointed at one of Wolfies jams

Comment from dave:

This is an electric blues jm. Great if you're a good blues player, but no room for acoustic or solo acts. It's a sit-in thing. Although they claim anyone can play, no one there is really interested in acoustic stuff.

Comment from WOLF:

Corrine's has made some BIG changes with the sound, they added carpet and a curtain on the stage and lowed the cieling, it does not sound like a big echo chamber any more, it sounds fantastic now and we still get loads of Jammers, and the food is still great. There are only two host bands now Dick Willner & Blues DeVille and Wolf & The Jam Daddies, so we hope you will join us.
Thank You
WOLF

Comment from AP:

Comments are great, new to the area and looking for places to play. Based on the comments I won't be going to this one. Thanks for the headsup.

Comment from Natalie:

This jam is so much fun. The talent is unbelievable. The blues is incredible. The hosts were gracious. I sing and play folk and they were gracious and allowed me to play and accepted me as one of their own. Highly recommend! A+

Comment from JamCritic:

So loud it's like jamming on the tarmac at T.F. Green during a 737 takeoff. It quickly became obvious why the PA speaker(s) were blown. Buffet is great but you are more likely to die from it than for it… vegetables prohibited by law. Bar is nice, well stocked and the service is good. There were some friendly jammers. It was a little creepy that there was a guy wandering around with SECURITY in big block letters on his t-shirt. Don't bother signing-up early because the host band (Mark Ray Band) just skips over you and calls up their friends (who have not even signed the list.) Maybe they get around to the new guys in the second or third round but you are too deaf to play by then. Has potential but needs some tweaking.

Comment from WOLF:

This Jam is great, if you keep your volume low you'll sound fantastic, The Buffett is to die for Cajun style, the people friendly 3 different Hosts alternating. The Mark Ray Band / Dick Wilner & Blues DeVill / Wolf & the Jam Daddies
