Collaborative startup MyTwinPlace introduces MyTwinPlace for Entrepreneurs, a platform inviting entrepreneurs to stay in other entrepreneurs’ homes whenever they travel.
MyTwinPlace for Entrepreneurs was born from an observation: entrepreneurs have to travel often and it doesn’t always make sense for them to stay in hotels. They should take advantage of their travels to expand their network of contacts and create new opportunities for their businesses, while at the same time saving money.
With a dedicated search engine, MyTwinPlace for Entrepreneurs specifically highlights the homes of others entrepreneurs within a community of more than 35,000 travelers who share their homes in 160 countries.
Once they have found the perfect home, entrepreneurs can use their welcome points to book their first stay, or open the doors of their own homes to earn more points and keep on traveling without any accommodation costs.
As a matter of fact, MyTwinPlace for Entrepreneurs is a perfect solution in a sector where limiting travel expenses is mandatory; but beyond savings, it is also about creating new networking opportunities for founders and employees of digital companies.
MyTwinPlace’s CEO and co-founder Jean-Noël Saunier commented on this initiative:

Reinforcing synergies between MyTwinPlace and OpenAxel
MyTwinPlace for Entrepreneurs is supported by Telefónica OpenFuture and its OpenAxel initiative, a project supported by the European Commission as part of the Startup Europe Hub program, and whose mission is to promote cooperation within the European digital entrepreneurship ecosystem.
OpenAxel will promote this cross-border service for European entrepreneurs, spreading it among its network of over 130 European accelerators and more than 5,000 entrepreneurs, a unique platform to promote this service in Europe:
