I absolutely love the simplicity and love in this San Francisco Wedding by Tara Marie Photography. This couple eloped with only close family and friends in the know. They were able to keep the secret for the entire day. The image was taken with the “WE DID IT!” banner and that is how the couple announced to the social media world that they sealed the deal. Small, intimate, and full of laughter. What a perfect way to say I do!

From the bride: Our wedding day could not have been more perfect! I’m sure a lot of Brides and Grooms have said that but ours truly went off without a hitch, well there was that part on a MUNI Bus but I’ll get to that!! Tara, our photographer (who we were lucky to get having only given her 3 days notice) didn’t waste a moment or a great photo opt! From the moment she arrived at my Parents house to the last picture at the Ferry Building. We all arrived on time which is a huge feat in itself; when you have 2 sets of parents, 5 siblings, and an opinionated Grandpa keeping a tight schedule can be tricky to say the least! My first of many favorite parts of the day was when we first got to see each other! We had the “Big Reveal” surrounded by our family on the steps of City Hall and it felt like the whole city was celebrating with us; every time an open air tour bus, a taxi, or even a group of people would pass by they all cheered and clapped for us and said CONGRATULATIONS! It was amazing! The moment that Mike and I said “I Do” was so surreal. It was the most amazingly perfect moment of our lives! Then Mike’s entire company crashed our wedding and held up signs that said “We love you Mike and Theresa, Congratulations.” It was so much fun! We headed to dinner to toast our big day and indulge in a bit of bubbly!! Afterward all thirteen of us were trying to hail cabs to get back to the hotel for the after party and unbeknownst to us apparently so was everyone else in SF! We had no choice but to get onto a MUNI BUS!! My new Husband made sure that we were getting on the right bus and I made sure everyone got on and fed the meter! YES, there I was in my dress with our family on a MUNI bus on our wedding day! It didn’t matter; the day was truly the best day of my life and it happened to be perfect wedding in San Francisco! My absolutely-hands- down favorite part of the day was that I married my BEST Friend!
