Located in Quebec’s spectacular Hotel de Glace the Ice bar is (unsurprisingly) a chilled out lounge with beautiful ice carvings and ice glasses. Take a virtual tour or if you’re brave enough, spend a night!

In contrast to Quebec’s ice bar Hueso is located in the much warmer climate of Central America. Set in a refurbished 1940’s building the restaurant was designed by Cadena + Asociados with thousands of animal bones and a macabre interior.

Named after the Swiss surrealist painter H.R. Giger, the museum’s bar is a skeletal masterpiece. The interior has vaulted ceilings covered in arching vertebrae.

The Water and Wind cafe is made up of thousands of culms of bamboo with minimal use of steel. The design is a contemporary architectural expression with the V shape maximizing the wind flowing into the building.
