The Great Bird Conspiracy on stage at Dragoncon!
Major Announcement! Dragoncon will kick off with a live presentation of “Kevin & Kell: The Great Bird Conspiracy” performed by the talented Atlanta Radio Theater Company, led by Bill Ritch and adapted by Brad Strickland. I’ll be making an appearance as the Narrator.
It will all happen at the Hyatt Regency in the International Ballroom North, at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2. It’s an honor to be placed in Dragoncon’s leadoff spot.
Get to the con early so you don’t miss it!
Dethany’s Raven
Just a reminder; at Dragoncon I’ll have the collection of “Fastrack” strips from 2012, “Dethany’s Raven.” Of course, you can buy it here.
New Kevin & Kell book
The 21st “Kevin & Kell” collection “Hoofbeats” is now available, and you can now order it here. It contains the complete year of strips from 2014, plus Lindesfarne’s commentary.
Holbrook video interview
You can see me interviewed by Melony Chitwood of “The Trade” here.
Kevin & Kell needs your support
The aforementioned patron social is one of the goodies available via the 2016 patron program which supports all three of my strips. Every year I do a special parody print for those who contribute at the Light Herbivore Salad level and above, and for 2016 I’m featuring the entire cast in a parody of the “Animal House” movie poster.
Virtu/Noir
Just as a reminder, “Dethany in Virtu/Noir,” is an interactive novella featuring Dethany of “On the Fastrack” as she adopts a 1940s private eye persona to solve a crime in cyberspace. She finds herself in the middle of a gang war between two groups; one promoting online transparency and the other heightened data security. A crisis erupts when people begin to have their identities drained (literally).
Along with John Lotshaw and my wife Teri Holbrook, we’ve created a unique blend of words and images, available for the iPad. Readers will be able to make choices determining the direction of the plot, and we estimate that it offers roughly two hours of crime-solving fun. It’s yours for $2.99. Learn more about it by visiting its website here.
Vintage Kevin & Kell
Classic “Kevin & Kell” strips are now featured on King Features’s Comic Kingdom site. Go here, and pick up the action from today’s date back in 2009.
