Scores of the best football players in the Northeast descended on Piscataway High School for the Rivals camp Saturday, and many made the short trip to the Hale Center to see what Rutgers has to offer.
The Rivals.com Camp Series touched down in central New Jersey Saturday, and many of the best athletes in the Northeast participated, at least the ones not attending spring games in Happy Valley or Columbus.
Kyle Flood and his staff are not prone to waste an opportunity like this, and many of the top players at the camp traveled the 3.7 miles from Piscataway High to High Point Solutions Stadium, to visit the Scarlet Knights.
New Offers Out to 2016 Stars
At least three class of 2016 players walked out of the Hale Center with offers to play for Rutgers: Cedar Creek Athlete Ahmir Mitchell; Camden WR Brad Hawkins and Camden DE Jamal Holloway.
