There has been a huge increase in fraudulent training providers that provide security guard and private investigations training. Interforce International encourages everyone to visit the Ministry's training provider registry below to ensure that the training academy is properly registered:

To protect yourself from training scams, always follow the noted tips:
- Check the Ministry's website to ensure the training provider is registered.
- Avoid training websites that have no human interaction and only can be communicated via e-mail.
- Refrain from believing the $18/hour pay rates. These advertisements are considered misleading and false advertising.
- Does an advertisement offer jobs? Get it in writing! This is a common, unethical, and desperate sales tactic to persuade students to sign up with them only to never be offered a job after your training is completed. We highly recommend you get the job offer in writing which includes the client’s name, your schedule, rate of pay, and start date. Ensure you and the training company signs on the form in order for it to be a legally binding agreement. By taking this precaution, if the agreement does not materialize, you can request a refund due to them not abiding by their agreement.
- Ensure your CPR certification is EMERGENCY FIRST AID LEVEL C. Some training providers provide only CPR certification, which is insufficient for your first aid & CPR training requirement. Other training providers don’t even mention the mandatory first aid & CPR course, even when it is mandated by the Ministry, forcing you to spend more money than you expected. Interforce International has ALWAYS had clear and concise pricing.
