I apologize for being late on this post, Elementary fans. I  have no better alibi other than I was out of town for a friend’s wedding.

Watching  this most recent episode (Season 2, Episode 5, “Ancient History“)  post-plane travel,  post-champagne toasts, and post-Florida humidity hair battles  either gave me extreme clarity on the subplots or I was completely hallucinating half of what I thought I saw.

For instance, did Joan (Lucy Liu) really pay $25  just for one glass of whiskey? And did Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) really admit he has an alter ego who is a sex fiend stalker? And was Joan wearing sporting a dress made up of a tank top over a white collared shirt?

At least I was able to solve some mysteries from this chapter — scroll down below to uncover those and keep checking back because there are a few fashion items you guys have asked me about (including Joan’s straw tote and her brown shoulder bag) that I am waiting on the fabulous costume designer, Rebecca Hofherr, to get back to me about!
