Geocaching Weekend – Little Rock

Join Pinnacle Mountain State Park all weekend to immerse you and your family into the world of geocaching. Learn about the Arkansas State Parks geocache tour and geocaches found right in our park. Wilson Music Series: Grant Garland – Wilson

Wilson Music Series hosts singer-songwriter Grant Garland. A native of the Arkansas Delta, Garland formed his own band after graduating from Arkansas State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. After a time playing the blues on Beale Street in Memphis and traveling the southeast, Garland moved to Las Vegas in 2010 to headline at the Mirage’s B.B. King’s Blues Club. Garland has also performed with and opened for artists such as B.B. King, Bobby “Blue” Bland and others.

A Night Out to Remember with the Travelers – North Little Rock

Alzheimer’s Arkansas and the Arkansas Travelers have joined the Arkansas Food Bank to put an end to Senior Hunger. The first 500 attendees to the game on August 20 that donate a senior food item of peanut butter, soup (meat or vegetable) or Boost/Ensure receive a Brain! Alzheimer’s Arkansas will be on hand to answer questions about Alzheimer’s, support groups, and other resources for caregivers.

4th Annual Bats & Bluegrass – Cave Springs

Come celebrate International Bat Viewing Day at the Illinois River Watershed Sanctuary for the 4th Annual Bats & Bluegrass Festival. Outdoor activities like nature hikes, fishing, canoeing, and standup paddle boarding will start at 4 PM. There will be plenty of fun, family activities thanks to local businesses and City of Cave Springs. IRWP will have fun, bat crafts and ways to find out more about these fascinating creatures.
