Position: Teaching in Abu Dhabi
Teach in Abu Dhabi Public Schools!
Teach Away in Abu Dhabi, UAE! Teach Away is currently hiring teachers to participate in one of the world's largest education reform initiatives. Teachers at the primary level (KG – year 5) will teach English, Math, and Science, while those at the middle level (year 6-8) will teach one of those subjects. Teachers at the secondary level (year 10-12) will teach English Language Arts.
The education system in Abu Dhabi is being revamped to create a more student-centered learning environment. In addition, the language of instruction is being changed from Arabic to English for the subjects of English, Math, and Science. Job Details
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Monthly Salary: AED 12,300-20,400 tax-free (approximately $3,355-$5,500/month)
Contract Duration: 3 Years
Estimated Start Date: August 2016
Working Hours: 07:30-15:00, Sunday to Thursday
Teaching Benefits
Flight: Return airfare provided for candidate, spouse, and up to 3 dependents
Housing: Single housing provided (furnished or furniture allowance given)
Health insurance: Provided for candidate, spouse, and up to 3 dependents
Visa Sponsorship: Sponsored by the school
Vacation: Summer vacation; national holidays
Additional Benefits: 1 month salary per year completion bonus; 2-5 foreign teachers per school; tax-free salary; annual flight allowance
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Certification: Teaching License
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant level/ subject
