Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) A DBA is responsible for providing the technical capability for implementing and maintaining a secure, reliable and efficient database. The candidate will be someone intimately involved with performance tuning, monitoring error logs, ensuring reliability & security and managing access to a multi-user, relational database.
• Detailed knowledge and experience with Oracle RDBMS version 10g, 11g, 12c and analyzing database performance, system resources, and throughput
• Experience with Apache and WebLogic
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Solaris, Knowledge of SAN (Storage Area Network) concepts and hardware implementation, WebLogic, UNIX/LINUX
• Ensure reliable backup and recovery of necessary data using 3rd party products and/or custom solutions with and without the use of RMAN.
• Troubleshoots listener/network communications; Understand of TCP/IP, SNMP/UDP
• Provide capacity planning
• Write a variety of scripts, batch processes, unattended installations, SQLOracle queries, etc.
• CBM Application(s) Design review
