With help from fans across Northeast Ohio, the Cleveland Cavaliers have concluded their search for a local unsung hero, known as an EveryFAN. Reggie Winters, from Massillon, Ohio has been selected as the recipient of this year's honor and will be celebrated on EveryFAN Night presented by Bud Light during the Cavs vs. Washington Wizards game on February 23, 2014 at 6:00 p.m.

Winters, a full-time firefighter and arson investigator, had the surprise of a lifetime when he arrived at work on Tuesday morning. Cavs in-arena host Ahmaad Crump, members of the Cavalier Girls and Scream Team, and mascot Moondog helped Winters' friends and family deliver the exciting news in front of his coworkers and Mayor of Massillon, Kathy Catazaro-Perry. Winters, unaware of his nomination by fiancée Jessica, was overcome with emotion during the special announcement.

He was selected as the 2014 EveryFan because he encompasses the true spirit of "All for One. One for All." He has been described as a hardworking individual who takes great pride in his role as a firefighter and in his community. He was recently presented with the City of Champions Accommodations for heroic efforts in rescuing a family from a fire, and going above and beyond to help them recover. Outside of work, Winters is an active family man who loves basketball, and the Cleveland Cavaliers!

On Sunday, February 23, Winters and a guest will experience an unforgettable night at Quicken Loans Arena. A special halftime presentation by Carolyn Brown (wife of Cavs Head Coach Mike Brown), who plays an active leadership role in Cavs community outreach programs, will recognize Winters in front of thousands of cheering fans for the significant role he plays in making his community a great place to live.
Winters' VIP experience will also include:

Dinner for two at the Hard Rock Café

Benchwarmer passes

A pair of courtside seats

A personalized Cavs jersey

Every Cavs 2013-2014 premium giveaway item

A prize pack including an air hockey table, electric guitar, cooler, and more courtesy of Bud Light

Tickets to upcoming Lake Erie Monsters, Cleveland Gladiators games, and more!

All 2014 EveryFAN nominees will receive a pair of tickets to Sunday's game, as well as a Limited Edition EveryFAN t-shirt and post-game photo on the court.

Celebrating Local Heroes Continues Throughout Game
Reggie Winters is not the only local hero that will be celebrated during Sunday's game. Fans will be able to honor those that selflessly give back to the community all evening. All first responders in attendance will be recognized for their dedication and service. To show appreciation for their hard work, the Cavs donated 250 tickets to local first responder organizations including USO active military members, Cleveland police officers, Cleveland firefighters, Cleveland Clinic critical care transport teams, and the Cleveland Clinic police department.

During the game, the arena main concourse will feature fun opportunities for fans to get to know their local first responders better. Cleveland firefighter turnout gear will be available to try on and simulate activities like transporting fire hose, extinguishers, and water. In addition, an interactive remote controlled fire truck will make its way around the concourse to entertain fans.

The Cavaliers Youth Fund 50/50 Raffle during the game will also feature a local hero twist. The benefiting organization of the evening is the Cleveland Cops and Kids Foundation.
