Why do we we love floral rompers!? Because floral rompers help us get fit in style!

Rompers and floral patterns are everywhere for summer fashions this 2014, so when the two collide it makes for dual punch of good fashion sense. We love the style of floral rompers, because they allow you the fashion sense of a dress with the freedom of shorts. This is great news for those of us ladies who like long walks in the park, but we don’t really dig the boring gym shorts style. With health officials recommending 10,000 steps a day to stay fit and healthy, it means that we all should be walking a lot more to feel our best. These four floral romper styles are perfect outfits for long strolls in the parks or around the neighborhood. With any summertime wind gusts, you won’t have to worry about giving everyone around you a free peep show either.  Without any more gabbing from us, let’s briefly go through why we loved these four floral rompers in particular for walking.

1. Xhilaration® Junior’s Cutout Romper – Navy from Target

This cute little floral romper is the cheapest on the list for only $25 on target.com, so it is great for those of us who are on a tight budget. We really liked the fitted waste of this romper that made for a comfortable fitted style for walking. The thin straps make this a perfect option for really hot days where you want to be wearing the least amount of clothing as possible. The nearly fitted legs of this romper also made it a great option for yoga ladies out there who like to do headstands, cartwheels and all sorts of fun acrobatic stunts.

2. Simone Romper from Nasty Gal

The empire waist and thick straps of this romper gave it a more retro look that we could imagine being featured in a classic film. What is great is that the loose legs and empire cut makes for a wide skirt that allows the cool summer breeze blow up the romper, but the shorts make sure that the dress stays down. This floral romper is perfect for long walks on breezy summer evenings- especially by the beach.

3. TEA PARTY ROMPER from Tobi

As you well know, strapless dress means a strapless bra or no bra, so this dress isn’t ideal for very long walks. However, we thought this romper really had a high fashion feel, and it would be a great option for a date in the park. If you are going on a date for a picnic in the park this dress allows you to keep your high fashion sensibilities, but you can sit on the picnic blanket without worrying to tuck our skirt. Fun, flirty, short and skimpy- the Tea Party Romper is just fab. What a perfect way to spend a date with a short stroll followed by a picnic in the park, because it allows you and your loved one to add some steps to your daily walking and enjoy the great outdoors.

4.  Read It and Steep Romper in Garden from Mod Cloth

This fun sleeved romper is perfect for long walks, because the short sleeves provide plenty of coverage to wear a sports bra with lots of support. The button-up front and collar makes for a comfortable and loose fit, but one that you could easily wear to a cafe or restaurant before or after your walk. I think after a long walk a lady has definitely earned a much deserved latte or muffin!
