We interrupt today’s sports topics with a little bit from the Kentucky political scene, where things got heated at today’s “Right To Work” hearing in Frankfort.

Governor Bevin, fresh off attending last night’s UK game, where he caught a free t-shirt on a beautiful throw from Ravi Moss, felt the wrath of some upset protestors in the Capitol Annex. One union member screamed “You devil!” at Bevin as Bevin made his way through the hostile crowd.

Chris Williams, a political reporter for WHAS in Louisville, has some video:

(Cont1) Gov Bevin also went into crowd to debate. Some debated back, others shouted their opinions from further back. @WHAS11 (cont) #KYga17 pic.twitter.com/BfjHEqODOi

It looked like much happier times when the governor was catching t-shirts and posing with the t-shirt cannon last night.

Probably as close as I'll ever get 2 actually firing the @Kroger tee-shirt cannon/Gatling gun @KentuckyMBB game #BBN pic.twitter.com/6y49IYf2xQ
