Matt’s appearance on ESPN’s First Take has been postponed until a later date.

We’ll be sure to let everyone know if/when there is a new date scheduled.

Shaq on his podcast yesterday addressed the rumors of his son possibly playing for Coach Cal at Kentucky.

Shaq mentioned Johnny Jones, Coach Cal, and Tom Izzo as coaches that he would love his son to play for. Like Matt said, I think we can all rule out Johnny Jones at LSU as a possibility after the debacle with Ben Simmons at LSU (regardless of the fact that he still went first in the draft), with everyone obviously not being on the same page and having a disappointing NCAA Tournament-less year. I’d say it’s apparent that Shaq mentioned Jones because he is an LSU alum. So it sounds like there is at least a 50/50 shot the kid ends up at Kentucky. Like the guys said, even if he isn’t the best player in college, it would be a big deal having him and Shaq roaming around campus in a couple years. The bonus is the kid seems to be on the rise and a pretty good player, so if things fall into place this could be pretty huge for the Cats and Coach Cal going forward.

Johnny Manzel’s father came out and said he son is a “druggie” and he should be in jail.

Yeah that’s rough, Daddy Manzel, even if you do think that about your son, don’t tell the whole world that is how you feel. I guess he would know Johnny better than any of us and what he may respond to.

Matt’s irritation with J.J. Hoover continues.

“Nothing sucks like a Hoover.” -Matt Jones

Ric Flair wanted $5000 just to come on KSR.

Would he be the Nature Boy if he didn’t though?

The FBI says there is a list of 15,000 random people on an “Isis hit list”.

If you are on that list, would you want to know? I think I’m with Shannon on this one; I’d want to know so I could sit in a chair starring at my front door with my 30/30 on my lap. No, but I would want to know so I could at least take some kind of precautions and do everything I could to keep my family safe, regardless of what those options may be.

Would you want to know if you are on the Isis Hit List?

Governor Bevin has appointed the new Board of Trustee’s at Louisville.

And wouldn’t you know it, Papa John is one of them.

DeMarcus Cousin’s interest explanation of his draft day Tweet.

Boogie says that his tweet three minutes after the draft was about his hot sculpting session, not the Kings decision to pick Georgios Papagiannis with their 13th pick.

Freddie Maggard’s take on what the UK Football team needs to strive for to reach a Bowl Game this season.

Here are the bullet points Freddie layed out of areas that he believes need to show the most improvement:

Scoring: 25 ppg in 2015/needs to be 30 ppg in 2016.

Passing Completion Percentage: 55% in 2015/needs to be 62% in 2016.

Yards allowed per game: 394 in 2015/needs to be 355 in 2016.

QB Sacks: 17 in 2015/needs to be 28 in 2016.

Average Yards Per Punt: 39 in 2015/needs to be 43 in 2016.

Read the complete breakdown by Freddie here on KSR.

NBA Summer Leagues start Saturday.

Which is big for Alex Poythress playing for the Orlando Magic summer league team, and Aaron Harrison who will be fighting to keep his roster spot with the Charlotte Hornets.

The State of Texas says parents that home school their kids HAVE to teach their kids basic skills or they will. Although a collective of religious parents have decided not to teach their kids anything because they believe “the rapture” is coming in the next year. Where would you stand on this?

Honestly I do think some kind of curriculum should be in place lawfully that the parents have to follow when home schooling their kids. Regardless of your religion, you’ve got to get your child a chance to succeed in the future. Although, if they believe “the rapture” is coming within a year. I would say then, alright give me a date when your rapture is coming. Then if that day comes and you and your children are still here you must start teaching them the basic skills we’ve layed out, and if you don’t we’ll send someone to do so for you. Just a thought.

New board of trustee member Douglas Cobb does not seem to be a fan of Rick Pitino.

Maybe this whole thing isn’t a sham. We’ll see though, if the new board votes Ramsey out then applause to you, Matt Bevin.
