My thoughts about Rapid Brands Rapid Mac Cooker-
I am a full-time working mom and wife. There are many times I try to find the balance between working, dinner, and having quality time with my husband and stepson, Ashton. Thanks to Rapid Brands Rapid Mac Cooker, I have gained more time to enjoy with my two favorite guys and less time cooking after spending a full day working.
I take making boxed macaroni and cheese very seriously. It is on the list of favorite foods in our home. Over cook the noodles and you have a soggy gross mess; I wont even give you my opinion of under-cooked macaroni and cheese. I think I have managed to perfect the boxed noodle favorite to make it even creamier and cheesier without adding more cheese.
I was a bit skeptical about how well this little, blue microwavable, dishwasher safe cooker would fair against making this favorite on the stove! The instructions to use the Rapid Mac Cooker couldn’t have been easier; simply pour the boxed macaroni noodles in Rapid Mac Cooker, add water to the fill line, microwave for 2 1/2 minutes, stir the noodles, microwave 2 more minutes, add the remaining ingredients (butter and cheese powder). Wait! Did I miss a step? I know what you’re thinking, ‘What about having to pull out a strainer from the back of the cabinet and drain the water?’ Not anymore! The Rapid Mac Cooker eliminated the time consuming step of draining the water too!
Think about it, when you make mac and cheese on the stove, you dirty a spaghetti pot, mixing spoon, and strainer. We have a glass stove and I find water takes a time to start boiling. Now after getting home from work and picking up Ashton at the sitter’s house and helping him with homework, I have to spend the next 20 minutes to make our favorite side. At least half that time is waiting for my water to begin to boil, which creates more time I have to spend cleaning up in the end – time I could have with my family. Rapid Brands Rapid Mac Cooker not only eliminated having to hand-wash a spaghetti pot, but the colander too!
Now, the big question: how was the taste? Remember I said I make my macaroni and cheese creamy and cheesy. I use a secret ingredient in lou of milk. I use a teaspoon to teaspoon and a half of mayonnaise! I promise, you don’t even taste it! Ask my super-picky stepson and husband! The Rapid Mac Cooker, hands down, makes the BEST mac and cheese in only 5 minutes! It was the creamiest and tastiest box mac to date I have EVER made, and in a fraction of the time to boot! Oh I almost forgot the handles of the Rapid Brands Rapid Mac Cooker are safe to the touch even during the cooking process. When you’re done, simply wash it out like any dish and place in the dishwasher! That’s right, ANOTHER bonus; it’s dishwasher safe!
