In a region somewhere around the world, there was a certain series of isles called the Cocaron Archipelago.

A group of travelers decided to go there and investigate many discoveries awaiting there.

After days of researching, they informed that the region is rich in their resources. This has caught many attention across the worldwide, and the people of the biggest region; the Cerpane Region noticed them.

At first, the natives thought that they are intruders who thinks they can take the ancient gem which holds ominous power that no one ever dare to touch it. But after some explanation, they reconsidered the choice and allowed them to take any sort of interesting objects.

They did, and thanked the elder's wisdomness. One of the travelers then said if they can urbanize the whole region to grant them better lives. They agreed, but the other seems to have rejected the idea.

Soon, many people are confused which would be the best idea while the elderlies bicker with their foul mouthed words. The travelers decided to make a decision whether the whole region will be urbanized or not, by hosting a Pokémon league.

Many people sounds excited when they hear out the rules, and surprisingly, they all agree with this final decision.

And so they did. They spreaded out the news and this shocked the whole world in enthuasiasm, this eventually reached to the Union, who wanted to give out their service for security matters. After many contacts, a lot of people came and started to organize things required along with the help of the natives for one week. Now, the Tidal Tournament has been officially opened for everyone who wants to participate.

The condition whether the whole region be urbanized or not is the decision of someone who wins the Tidal Tournament. He or she will have the decision and it will change the fate for everyone.

The Rules :

●You will be allowed to only carry up to 6 Pokémon. Due to the lack of PC Systems, all trainers might need to with only one Pokémon at level 5. Starters can't be in it's evolved state bar Pokemon with their baby forms and no legendary/mythical Pokemon. (For example, you can have Magmar instead of Magby.)
●You can use multiple characters, giving you many rosters and plot matter.
●Ranger Trainer Class and Ranger from Fiore, Almia, and Oblivia are different. Ranger Trainer Class are treated the same as the trainers even if they carry the same mission, while the Ranger from the three regions will only able to bring their partner Pokémon (Only 1) or not even any at all, and if the situation is dire, may use their styler to get help or actually use violence to stop any kind of harming. (Although this is rather not tolerated by the Union, depending on how severe it is. Trainers might be able to do the same to justify.)
●You can always try to make use of environment to your advantage, and even dictate the battle. Though PvP battles are usually carried out through PMs or maybe Showdown. (Can change though.)
●Every 5 posts = 1 level gained for 1 Pokémon. Of course it must at least contain 2 paragraphs and relevant, or else it won't count as one until one would edit it.
The chart would go like this :
-On below level 21, the required posts you need to level up is 5.
-On below level 41 or at 21, the required posts you need to level up is 6.
-On below level 61 or at 41, the required posts you need to level up is 7.
-On below level 81 or at 61, the required posts you need to level up is 8.
-On below level 91 or at 81, the required posts you need to level up is 9.
-On below level 100 or at 91, the required posts you need to level up is 10.
(Updates for at least every week for the longest time.)
-Evolution that requires trading to evolve can evolve at level 40; Pokémon that needs certain items might need to hold the item such as King's Rock for Slowpoke to evolve into Slowking must be at the aforementioned level too, which is level 40 and needs the said item.
-You can evolve Pokémon that evolves through evolutionary stones (this includes Razor Claw and Razor Fang) as soon as you got the item.
-Pokémon that evolves through happiness will evolve at level 30.
●Items may be found and bought, depending on your luckiness and currency. (You will start with 3000 Poke Dollars.)
●Most NPC can be fought by yourself in one post. Special characters such as player controlled and leaders may be fought in Showdown. (Please maintain the fairness by putting the level at specific number, otherwise not putting any numeric will result in it being level 100) (UPDATE: You will be provided an importable team based on your record.)
-When battling together, it need to be noted that you can't heal at all. So things like Potions and Revives are obsolete, only working at the RP.
●Minimal age for participating is at least 10 years old, while there's no restriction for elderlies.
●The 7 lands archipelago will be the places you need to visit and challenge the leaders with. The 3rd region will be the first starting place, while the other regions will be accessible through different methods, such as the use of HMs and certain transportation. (HMs can't be used until the trainer defeated the first leader, which is in the 3rd region.)
