Sofitel London St. James was the first hotel that I stayed in London and in the entire UK, that gave me indeed a very good impression on how luxury hotels can be in UK! This hotel is in the center or walking distance only from all the famous & main tourist destinations like Trafalgar Square, National Library, Piccadilly Circus, Green Park, Chinatown and even the Buckingham Palace.

"One of the best hotel beds & perhaps, one of the most comfortable rooms that I stayed in a hotel", that's how I described this amazing four-star hotel after my  3 days 2 nights stay. This hotel is located in the heart of London City, just off Fleet Street and a short walk to Covent Garden.

4. InterContinental London Park Lane -  De Luxe Room that cost £250.00 (USD$310.00) per room per night.

Situated at one of the capital’s most prestigious addresses, InterContinental London Park Lane presents modern luxury accommodation in the heart of Mayfair.

However, if you are in a Budget, you can check the apartment type called Sandeman Allen where you can stay in a Single room for only £217 per week or 7 days with already breakfast and evening meals and breakfast and lunch during weekends.

FOOD

There's actually one article that I read that for £10 per day you can actually travel or eat in London with a suggestion to bring a 3-in-1 coffee from Philippines and have a cracker just like that. However, this budget is actually will make you a "Stingy Traveler" and perhaps will NOT make you enjoy your so-called vacation in London.

The truth is, in Central London...£10 is actually the amount per meal when you are dining in a restaurant. But, before you come to London or any other country as a Traveler! You must remember..."Trying local food is actually One of the best things you must-do when visiting a Country". As I stayed in UK for months during my Business trip, £20-30 per day would actually be enough!

Example: £25 per day (or £18 if you have breakfast in the hotel)

Breakfast   - £7  Traditional English Breakfast with Coffee at Cafe du Coin in Earl's Court

Lunch        - £9  Pork Tonkatsu with Drinks at Misato Restaurant in Chinatown

Dinner       - £9  Nando's Value Meal Chicken with Drinks

However, I can also suggest for you try at least ONCE to have a fine-dining experience in London as well as Afternoon-tea experience.

Fine Dining Experience - cost £60 (for 3-course meal)

Do NOT leave London without trying any of their fine-dining restaurants. London has always been known for good restaurants or with Michelin Star. British Chefs like Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver are some of the most respectable Chefs worldwide from UK! For more than months I was here, I really tried a lot of fine-dining restaurants and one of my favorite restaurants was my fine-dining experience at Homage Restaurant, The Warldorf Hilton London.

Try any of their Afternoon-Tea Experience- Your visit in London is not complete if you are not going to try of any of London's afternoon-tea experience and glad I did try in Wellington Lounge at InterContinental London Park Lane and it was indeed, an amazing experience which only cost £32 for their "Royal Tea" and  £77  with unlimited Moet & Chandon Champagne.
