PG Courses Application Form

Those students who want to take admission in the PG courses they are required to apply form Delhi University Admission. Dear candidates 50% seats of the Post Graduate programmes will be filled by direct admission of candidates and the remaining 50% seats will filled via the entrance exam plus interviews.

B.Tech Admission

All applicants who have desire to take admission into B.Tech programme they will be appointed via an entrance exam and shortlisted students will have to present in interview.

UG Courses Admission

Dear candidates we are telling you that DU University will not be operated any entrance exam for admission in Under Graduate courses. There will be no Pre-admission form at the college level. There are 02 separate common Pre-Admission forms viz General/OBC and SC/ST/PwD. After apply successfully, applicants has to deposit it at any of the designated centers of the University. There is no required to send photocopies of certificates/documents with the application form. No application fee will be deposited.

Educational Qualification

PG Courses: The eligibility criteria for each programme in which candidate apply is different. Applicants should have passed graduation in their specific field from any recognized university.

There is no minimum age bar limit for admission in PG courses at Delhi University, except for courses regulated by bodies such as Medical Council of India, Bar Council of India, etc.

For UG Courses: Applicants must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

Students have to pass the qualifying examination obtaining minimum marks as specified for each of the courses.

B.Tech Course:  Applicants should have passed their 10+2 level from a recognized board. The minimum aggregate marks as given below (category wise):

General Category: 60 % in four subjects (including mathematics)

OBC category: 54% in four subjects (including Mathematics)

PH category: 55% in four subjects (including Mathematics)

SC/ST category: Passing marks with Mathematics as one subject

Application Fee:

For PG Courses:

For SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 250 each course and for General, OBC, etc: Rs.500.

For B.Tech Courses: No any fee to pay

For UG Courses: No any fee to pay

Exam Pattern: Dear candidate’s exam pattern will be different for different academic courses offered by the university. The Post Graduate entrance exam will be OMR based examination. Applicants should remember that for UG courses (merit based) there will be no entrance exam. The entrance exam will be operated for UG courses (entrance based) and PG courses.

Delhi University Syllabus: Post Graduate entrance exam syllabus will be different according to course. It contains the detailed syllabus of their graduation degree in specified programme. The Delhi University syllabus for the entrance test for UG courses is based on the academic syllabus of class 11th and 12th. Candidates may check it through official website of DU.

Admit Card: All applying candidates should get their admit card. Through it candidates can get easy entry in the exam room.

Answer Key: Approximately after the 24 hours of entrance exam, the conducting authority will publish answer key on their official site. So after examination, appeared candidates should open official website.

OMR Response Sheet: Applicants who will present in PG programme, if they should obtain a copy of the OMR Response Sheet, then they will make a request to the conducting body within 7 calendar days from the declaration of result date in prescribed format along with a fee of Rs. 500 per paper. The fee is non refundable.

Delhi University Result: After present in entrance exam, result will be published by university for eligible candidates. The result will be published in the first week of July 2017 (tentative). On the basis of the merit list applicants will be called for the counselling process.

Cut-off: Dear candidates cut-off marks will be prepared on the basis of class 12th marks of the school boards. The cut-off marks will be prepared by the various colleges affiliated to the Delhi University. Applicants will take admission in the UG programmes on the basis of the cut-off.

Counselling: Shortsighted applicants need to present in counselling process on the premises of the score and ranks in the merit list that is prepared on the basis of UG score card for direct admission category and on the basis of the entrance exam marks for the admission via entrance exam.  Dear students we are telling you that counselling schedule will be started after the some week of the result declaration. After the counselling procedure, applicants will have to attend interview.
