Artistic and music director of the Young Artists of America and GC alumni, Rolando Sanz '94 and Kristofer Sanz '00 invite you to their Young Artists of America's performance of Madama Butterfly and Miss Saigon this weekend, Sunday, March 10 at 4:00 PM at the Strathmore!
Madama Butterfly and Miss Saigon is a never-before-seen concept that brings together both iconic scores into one performance to tell a shared story. The semi-staged and fully-costumed performance will feature the Maryland Classic Youth Orchestra Philharmonic Orchestra, made up of 85 of the best student instrumentalists from the Metro DC area, and over 50 student and professional vocalists from Young Artists of America. This one time performance will also be directed by Shakespeare Theater’s Alan Paul.
