With emotions running high at this year’s Teen Choice Awards, Lea Michele of Glee fame dedicated her Choice TV actress award to late boyfriend, Cory Monteith. Appearing composed whilst her first public appearance since Cory’s tragic demise earlier last month due to substance abuse, the star accepted her award while tearfully praising boyfriend Cory.
Lea, who has been coping up following the great loss, addressed the audience stating about how she was humbled by their love and concern and thanked them personally for being supportive of her during these difficult times.
Though shaken by Cory’s untimely death, the actress made sure not to look glum wearing a dual toned pink Oscar de la Renta dress with matching pink pumps, accessorized with a necklace that read “Cory”. The star looked nothing less than stunning in her fit and flair ensemble styled with her wavy hair let loose and sparkling Tiffany & Co. earrings.
Also present at the event were glee cast members, Amber Riley and Jenna Ushkowitz who added kind words for their late cast-mate, while accepting Glee’s Choice TV Comedy award.
