Key Requirements
*Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
*Bachelor's degree or 20 years of relevant experience.
*Strong experience working in Deepwater operations.
*Requires strong experience in International offshore operations with heavy MPD
*Be a self-motivated active learner with good organizational skills
*Be an effective communicator with good report writing skills
*Team orientated.

Job Description
MPD Engineer - Houston, Texas (International rotation)
My client is currently requires 2 MPD Engineers to partake in a 2 year rotational contract. My client is an independent company whose main focus is on engineering and providing success on complex projects in the upstream energy industry. My client provides operating companies with a high level of expertise in order to solve drilling, completion, production and pipeline challenges.
This position will be working directly with our Operations manager and MPD engineering manager to develop drilling plans, and programs for global locations. The successful candidate will be required to ensure the operational success of each well you will be responsible for Managed Pressure Drilling Operations on the rig, from a technical, operational and safety stand point in relation to the drilling program requirements.
The suitable candidate for the position will require the following background and skills:
*Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
*Bachelor's degree or 20 years of relevant experience.
*Strong experience working in Deepwater operations.
*Requires strong experience in International offshore operations with heavy MPD

Key Responsibilities:
*Writing the End Of Well Report.
*Advising the client on MPD procedures and recommending mud weights, SBP.
*Well control calculations and circulating out minor influxes.
*Writing and implementing MPD procedures.
*Attending daily meetings with client.
*Attending HAZOP and Debrief.
*Controlling all MPD operations in a safe and efficient manner.
*Adhering to the highest safety policies and procedures.
