Job Description
The In-house Recruiter role reports into the HR Business Partner Resourcing managing the new recruitment service within the HR team at our client. A Recruitment Co-ordinator will also be recruited to join the team. There are determined growth plans to realise in partnership with the wider business and our valued agency suppliers. As a very capable and high performing experienced end to end recruiter, you will be able to bring a track record of direct sourcing as well as good agency/supplier liaison skills plus robust interviewing skills for professional to management level hires.
You'll also be energised by delivering the best quality candidates against a range of service standards and measures of success. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a collaborative and flexible way of working as part of a small and high performing team.
Providing comprehensive end to end recruitment delivery with a strong focus on multiple technical / niche skillset at a range of levels via direct sourcing and agency partnerships.
Becoming a key user of the recruitment system Taleo
Making direct placements for agreed roles using a range of sourcing channels e.g Linkedin, networking, CV searching etc for niche and technical positions at professional and management level
Strong agency liaison skills
Conducting professional, engaging and robust interviews and main stage assessments as required
Taking an active part in spotting, agreeing and implementing improvements and contributing to agreed priorities/initiatives within the recruitment service development plan.
Posting adverts on-line, networking,
To produce reports as required to agreed quality standards and deadlines.
Skills & Experience
A track record of success and achievement demonstrated within demanding Recruiter/Senior Recruiter roles either working internally or as part of a client facing RPO on-site team. This must include solid experience of delivering quality hires with technical/very niche skillset across multiple disciplines/business areas (ideally with evidence of recruiting for roles and skill sets relevant to this type of business).
Clear evidence of consistently delivering and exceeding a range of quality standards, recruitment service level agreements and measures of success.
Evidence of thriving in a busy hands-on end to end recruitment role. Able to balance a quality focussed and consultative service with a strong delivery focus to stringent project timescales.
A genuine team player, working flexibly within a small team.
Demonstrates an open and honest collaborative way of working. Reliable and conscientious.
Proven direct sourcing skills using a range of channels e.g Linkedin, networking, CV searching etc for niche and technical roles at professional and management level.
Effective agency liaison and strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven ability to use recruitment systems with ease, ideally with first-hand experience of playing a key role in implementing and embedding the use of systems with other users, supporting training etc
Good learning agility, able to readily learn new systems, processes, procedures.
Good Microsoft Office skills, use of Outlook, Excel and other recruitment systems.
Experience of performance and other reports including costs, satisfaction survey reporting/findings, analysis etc
Strong and proven organising and delivery skills to deliver a solid campaign workload of niche/technical roles.
Demonstrates professional maturity. High levels of integrity and a confidential approach. Personable and professional.
Understanding of compliance.
Solution focussed, uses initiative to make things happen whilst retaining a positive and professional attitude under pressure.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Proven ability to spot and put in place everyday improvements and to take ownership. Experience of contributing to creating new processes and establishing good practices.
Experience of psychometric testing.
This is a permanent position.
