Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Project Manager, based in Aberdeen
Responsibilities will include:
Safely and seamlessly see the project through to Operations, on budget and schedule
Ensure a high level of HSE performance within Contractors, via indirect management and coaching
Manage a demanding team of engineering experts, setting high professional standards and leading by example
Resource an integrated project delivery team across multiple locations
Develop and embed robust project procedures and controls
Provide timely and accurate cost and schedule reporting to stakeholders
Deliver the leased FPSO in line with the service agreements, on time and on budget
Managing the FPSO contractor via influencing and coaching, rather than direct authority
Deliver the subsea EPCI within time and budget constraints
Managing complex internal and external relationships, including interfaces between major project suppliers
Controlling scope changes to major contracts
Attracting high quality staff to the company project management team
Qualifications
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant Engineering discipline
Membership of professional or industry associations
Skills / experience:
Substantial Upstream project management experience, including several years with international Operators and project leadership roles
Previous "key contributor" experience of large scale projects (FPSO or SURF)
Involvement with integrating all aspects of delivering a complex project
Knowledge (e.g. systems, software, procedures, regulations):
Knowledge of the UKCS and related regulatory regimes is essential
Strong North Sea HSE knowledge and related leadership skills
Contract (or permanent) role
