Location: Saudi Arabia

• To maintain and improve the manufacturing facilities in compliance with safety standards and requirements;
• To lead a team of Engineers, Lead Inspectors and Inspectors, QC, Electrical, CP and Civil Coordinators where applicable in order to provide engineering support to operations and maintenance in compliance with safety standards.

Key Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree (4 year full-time course) from a reputable university respectively in one of below areas:
? Project & engineering Section: Mechanical engineering or Process Engineering (with mechanical experience) - Specific experience: Piping/ Static Vessel Design, project execution, plant troubleshooting and problem solving;
? Reliability Section: Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (with Mechanical/ ROT working experience) - Specific experience: Rotating Machinery Reliability Management, trouble shooting, PM Management and Electrical System design and RCM;
? Technical Support Section: Instrument/ Process Control/ Process/ Chemical engineering - Specific experience: Instrument Design, Process Control System Design and/ or Process Safety Management;
? Inspection Section: Mechanical Engineering - Specific experience: Inspection Engineering, Field Inspection and RBI, Corrosion Engineering and Material Engineering.
• At least 15 years of work experience in an operational refinery or petrochemical plant in corresponding engineering field with a minimum of 5 years in senior Technical positions responsible to provide correct technological solutions in a timely manner.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING

• Proven knowledge and sound experience of the in charge area as well as general oil & petrochemical plants practices;
• Sound knowledge on safety requirements, risk evaluation and environmental policies of this company;
• Knowledge of unit processes operations of plants, cost control and business management.

Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and manage all engineering related activities in the assigned unit to ensure timely engineering support to MFT, Maintenance, Contractors, Marketing and Corporate Planning and others as appropriate to ensure minimal reliability and steady operation with minimal downtime;

• Review and approve Technical documents with high quality and correctness under the assigned unit based on established Roles & Responsibility of the department;

• Oversee and undertake regular audits of engineering work assigned to the unit to ensure compliance with internal requirements on timely response and soundness;

• Review and consolidate Engineering Procedures under the unit from time to time for revision and enhance;

• Supervise the execution with compliance of established company and department procedures to prevent miss-operations and human errors in daily engineering works;

• Implement Cost Saving activities as per Section’s cost saving plan and manage the Sectional Operation cost with due diligent.

• Ensure assigned Section’s engineering tasks and related activities meet corporate safety and environmental policy and standards in order to minimize risk of industrial injuries and unwanted incidents;

• Conduct performance reviews of subordinates and liaise with Human resources to finalize staff development program and training needs to further enhance individual potential and contribution to the overall company’s performance;

• Execute improvements need on the Manufacturing facilities for more safety and competitive plants through trouble shooting, Engineering Work Request, CAPEX and other means, under the assigned unit;

• Carry out any specific tasks by the company/ department on timely and effective manner and achieve the required results with best efforts and teamwork spirits.
