Working with a Global Leader in Aircraft Charter services. This role will report to the Commercial Jets Trading Manage. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing Air Partner’s Oil and Gas business in Aberdeen and Norway. The role will involve identifying target accounts that require air charter services and building relationships with key decision makers. The role will also require client care and regular contact with both current and prospective clients. The Business Development Manager will be fully responsible for documenting a sales plan targeting different decision makers in the industry. The role requires self motivated individual who will work offer clients solutions that meet their needs.

• Experience/networked in the Oil and Gas Industry
• Ability to build successful relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues
• Well organized with excellent time management
• Ability to integrate with a small team and work on own initiative
• Customer service or sales experience in aviation
• Strong listening and problem solving skills
• Assertive with strong telephone manner
• IT literate with advanced Microsoft Office Skills
• To be readily available at short notice for travel
• Ability to build successful relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues

Job Description

• Identify and introducing Air Partner’s air charter services to key personnel in the Oil & Gas business through desk research, sales calls and visits.

• Grow and expand the AP brand and increasing market awareness

• Continuously networking and developing relationships with prospective clients and identifying commercial opportunities.

• Cold call prospects by telephone, building relationships with gatekeepers and end users by telephone and email, arranging face to face sales presentations with prospects whenever possible, providing monthly reports on activity and results and input into sales meetings

• Meet challenging call and GP targets (Add numbers)

• Maintain good relations with new clients won to assist in client retention, including occasional attendance at flight departures to generate maximum client satisfaction with the aim of generating referrals and new prospects from the existing client.
