They are currently recruiting for the position of OIM

Responsibilities will include:
Strive to create a safe workplace and to protect the environment
Control and manage field activities to maximise production operations. Report daily to onshore management on performance against specific targets/objectives. Set priorities to achieve safety and business critical goals and ensure these are effectively communicated.
Liaise fully with relevant onshore departments ensuring adequate flow and exchange of information.
Ensure safe working practices are implemented and that facilities are fit to meet statutory and EHS requirements.
Ensure that safety, quality and environmental systems are communicated, understood, monitored and implemented and that they comply fully with corporate standards, HSE&SR policies and procedures and statutory requirements.
Make recommendations for changes to procedures, improvements and projects related to the field. Ensure that monitoring systems are operating effectively and efficiently. Share and adopt best practices across the company and from cross industry learning and identify opportunities to enhance consistency and alignment between assets, where practicable.
Produce, develop and implement strategic business plans, prioritise capital works, control the offshore field budget and ensure the cost-effective use of materials, goods and equipment.
Provide clear direction and objectives for offshore personnel and ensure that they are fully aware of their objectives and roles. Motivate and develop personnel to ensure high morale, efficiency and safety-awareness.
Manage emergency and incident response and lead the Emergency Response Team to protect the well-being of personnel and the integrity of the installation and reservoir.
Represent the Company at meetings with joint venture partners, industry forums and government bodies.
Effectively manage the team and provide leadership, direction and coaching to offshore personnel to enhance levels of performance and competency.
Support recruitment, selection, training and competency programmes for offshore teams, to ensure the effective resorting of field operations.
Take ownership for the continuous development of personal and technical expertise and knowledge.

Qualifications/Training
Degree qualified or equivalent

Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, with a number of years spent in an offshore environment and in a senior supervisory capacity
Extensive knowledge of safety management, production, maintenance, engineering and knowledge of drilling/well intervention and supply chain services.
Solid understanding and application of relevant UK industry regulations relating to the oil and gas industry
Sound working knowledge and demonstration of safety case requirements and safe working practices
Familiar with quality processes and the application of continuous improvement tools
