Job Description

As Brownfield Produced Water Senior Project Engineer your main responsibilities will include

Approval, checking and preparation of design/engineering documentation.
Develop and enhance processes and systems for wider use in the discipline.
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards and Procedures.
Provide input to cost estimates and execution plans.
Ensure delivery of all aspects of discipline design, specification and procurement of the project to cost, schedule and quality criteria.
Ensure technical integrity of all discipline deliverables on the project.
Plan and maintain the discipline progress of the project.
Report periodically progress status to the line and function reporting lines.
Ensure all interfaces to other disciplines are clearly defined and correctly engineered.
Maintain and develop current awareness of relevant engineering technology & Codes and Standards.
Liaise with other disciplines, departments, project personnel and contractors.
Give design clarifications and advise on engineering / technical queries and change proposals raised during completion.
Review and comment on contractors / sub-contractors spares and special tools recommendations.
Witness factory acceptance test and performance test of equipment, when required.
Support the completions team in the preparation & updating of commissioning procedures manuals.
Develop start-up procedures in conjunction with the commissioning and operations teams
Manage / review instrumentation related design documents deliverables associated with Greenfield and Brownfield up-grades on the project;
Facilitate the resolution of interfaces between contractors and other third parties

Education, Experience & Qualifications:
Operator experience
Appropriate experience of Brownfield projects & offshore construction and operations & maintenance activities within the oil & gas industry, preferably with experience in a similar role
Proven track record of involvement in projects at a similar phase of maturity and of a similar size and complexity.
Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.
Chartered Engineer (preferable)
Skilled in the practice of Topside Process Engineering, with proven experience and practical skills.
Knowledge of facilities design and analysis is essential incorporating detailed knowledge of platform facilities.
Knowledge and experience of various contracting strategies and commercial structures is required.
Produced Water Handling experience required
