Senior Instrument & Control Engineer
Oslo - Norway
EPC Contractor
Contract - 12 months with opportunity for extensions

Leap29 are currently representing an opportunity to work with a reputable EPC contractor in Norway. The role will be working on multiple international projects from the Oslo office.

Tasks/Responsibilities include:

*Technical advisor on instrument and control, as well as some electrical engineering
*Be responsible for design and specifying requirements of equipment and control systems
*Produce Functional Descriptions, Control Philosophy, Instrument Index, IO lists, Cause & Effect, Wiring Diagrams, Test Procedures, Instrument Datasheets etc
*Evaluate, select and approve E&I equipment
*Review and approve supplier documentation
*Follow up on E&I scope for multidiscipline packages
*Recommend suppliers by evaluating technical parts of tenders and supplier recommendations
*Participate in FAT testing and follow up at site including commissioning activities

Professional back-ground:

*Bachelor or Master degree within relevant field of engineering
*More than 5 years of experience of process systems in the oil & gas- or process industry
*Good knowledge of Ex-equipment and installations
*General knowledge of relevant IEC, Class and Ex specifications and requirements
*Experience as lead engineer

*Good at developing relations
