Global Partners LP., a Fortune 500 Company based in Waltham, Massachusetts is one of the largest wholesale distributors of refined petroleum products in the Northeast. Global currently owns, leases or maintains dedicated storage at 20 refined petroleum terminals. In addition, we also have throughput or exchange agreements at 17 bulk terminals and 34 inland storage facilities. The Partnership is a leader in the transportation of crude oil and other products by rail across its 'virtual pipeline' from the mid-continental U.S. and Canada to the East and West Coasts for distribution to refiners and others.
Provide fuel compliance support to Global’s main office and facilities. Maintain compliance records including RIN, RVO and Compliance workbooks on a real time basis and ensure RINS are transferred and received through EPA’s EMTS system on a daily basis.
Key Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma and above average, demonstrated skills with Microsoft office software systems such as Excel and Word. This position requires the ability to learn and master third party software systems such as Global’s Transaction recording system (Lynx) and EPA’s on-line RIN transaction system known as EMTS.
Quantitative Data: This position will track, oversee and accurately process RIN transactions involving up to 1 billion RINS valued at over 500 million dollars.

Job Description
•Obtain and maintain access to EPA’s Central Data Exchange (CDX) and access EPA’s Moderated Transaction System (EMTS) on an as needed basis to transfer RINS to Global transaction counterparties and to receive RIN transactions initiated by third parties for renewable fuel or RINS purchased by Global
•Update and maintain relevant compliance workbooks to track and record Global’s compliance with the Renewable Fuel Standard and other Clean Air Act Amendment regulations relating to batch reporting, butane blending, sulfur and benzene compliance and other compliance requirements as appropriate.
•Ensure counterparties receive accurate and timely RIN Product Transfer Documents and Global receives RIN Product Transfer Documents for all RIN transactions whether initiated or accepted by Global.
•Maintain accurate files and records related to ethanol purchases or sales including invoices, PTD’s and trade information.
•Schedule RIN transactions in Lynx as necessary for RIN only trades initiated by the Commercial group.
