The Spokesman
In the beginning God said, “Let there be light!”
And there was light!
From the darkness came a burst of light. A “big bang“, something like a giant firework. The light appeared in seven colors dazzling in all its glory shimmering shades of a rainbow, All that day, all night till next morning! What a light show it must have been!
Now the darkness had lost his dominance, and sits in the shadow of light.
The occasion had come in reeling the centuries on a time scale. Day after day, night after night! From end to end, time left its finger print in light years, years, months, days, hours, minutes, and seconds… At the end of His creation, God said:
Genesis 2:7
“Let us make man from the dust of the ground”!
But man did not come out of the ground at command!
The potter mixed by hand and crafted mankind. The Creator took several spoons full of Oxygen in proportion of 65%. He also added grams of Carbon up to 18.5%. Then he sprinkled 9.5 drops of Hydrogen. a small mix of Calcium 1.5% and also Sodium 0.2% then trace elements, Boron, chromium, cobalt copper, fluorine, iodine, iron, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, silicon, vanadium and finally zinc. Even if we don’t know exactly the recipe proportions. all this was put together on God’s scales not even weighing one kilogram!
It formed an aqueous composition, About 75% water! He modeled like a Potter shapes clay, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.
It’s difficult to understand the recipe. It’s not easy to accept that man weighed no more than a kilogram! And we have a chemical composition very similar to pumpkins! Some say from monkeys but with pumpkins you feel downright humiliated.
The original recipe! It seems so simple that we could have temptation to reproduce it!
But Gods motivation was to make man “in his image and likeness” this is also not easy for people to accept.
Things seem meaningless when you think that God in His complexity and majesty, may want to resemble anyone with a chemical composition so simple! And in addition, to crown in this way the whole of His work of creation!
Another thing, where is the feast? where is the heavenly splendor given by creation of man in His image. You would have expected to hear a huge joy from earth to heaven, and a voice: “Behold man! In My likeness!” But alas there was none of this. I must admit it bothered me that Lucifer expected all with honor: tambourines and flutes were his job, preparing for the day when we were created. You were a cherub with wings; Thou was upon the holy mountain of God, and walks among the stones of fire.” I expected creation of man to be a huge celebration which directly related with the importance and place into the creation plan of God.
What at first was cause for deep satisfaction, because what he saw was very good, afterwards became bad. It was ultimately a regret by both parties, God disappointed by man and man turned his back on God.
When starting to read the Old Testament, I did not find it too easy to understand the difference between God’s desire to make “man in his image and likeness” and the offer of Lucifer: “You will be like God, knowing good and evil.” I did not understand why the first humans in Adam and Eve were not pleased and why they wanted more? Why was their divine knowledge of good not enough for them? What good is greater than they had? Is there hope for us?
In addition, if knowledge could have become potentially destructive the “apple of discord“, why was the tree of good and evil not placed in another location far away from praying eyes. Why did God place it almost strategically right in the middle for maximum attention?
Not to mention the question and connection between knowledge and immortality? Why was there two trees the first was the Tree Of Knowledge of good and evil with many branches and roots unknown to us, planted near one another in the same place?
When I got to read the New Testament it was also unclear why Jesus in His “heavenly bulletin” identified Himself as “The Word.” Or how much maths is at root of all things, I expected Him to say for example: “I am the formula of the world”. I say this because we know the word. It’s the fundamental unit of communication which is variable, flexible, easily changes it meaning and significance. Overtime it can be easily devalued. In addition life showed us that truth may lose its absolute value at one time, from one human to another, or from one community to another. More justified would be a name in the terms of mathematics, given that a number is absolute, unchanging in time and space. If God called Himself: “I am who I am,” You would expect Jesus to says:”I am what I do“! Moreover, incarnation into a man seemed such an uninspiring idea. The Bible says:
John 1:14
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth.”
The human history of the Incarnate Word has proved traumatic. Each have spoken his own language. Neither through signs or miracles communication couldn’t be better.
From this perspective of the Word incarnate, shouldn’t the first commandment have been “talk” or “think” maybe better still, “be wise“! That’s because we know the word has relation with thinking, rationality, thoughts and direction to be wise.
These would have been understandable, after Jesus redeeming sacrifice on Calvary, the strategic objective of Gods plan salvation of sinful man was to change our way of thinking, in other words “metanoia“.
Even if the target was thinking, God did not ask from man to be intelligent. He did not ask man to be full of Intelligence. If this would have been the target, then mankind would have been smart and rich, having access to information faster, it would have been a logical advantage. Heaven would have been full off smart humans! In addition, God could have been accused of failing to give us intellectual capacities equal to all. interestingly The creator asked only to be faithful and to love! But faith and love, have no direct correspondence in rational thinking. Faith is:
Hebrews 11:1
“The assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
What relation is between reason and faith? Apparently, none.
And about love… what can we say! Everybody can say everything. A rational conception in the heart has its own laws.
You couldn’t see faith as been the wisest way to know God, and for us to grasp with our limited minds. Did he want to be known in a blind way? Assuming a big risk! Maybe it would have been better “face to face” with all the cards on the table!
But there is something else, You can ask mankind to “think“, but you can not force to love. God asks:
Deuteronomy 6:5
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength.”
This is because you cannot command the heart. God knows how hard this is! And yet, he says: “Love!” A word with imperative value.
In the same time the Lord also conceded that:
Jeremiah 17:9
“The heart is deceitful and desperately wicked; Who can know it?”
All this is just says crosswords”!
The very word “logos” in Latin language “conventum” means understanding, and I just do not find myself in these terms!
The word has correspondent primarily with reason, thinking, knowledge, information, ideas, concepts, thoughts, language, memory, logic, imagination which fuses with the human brain.
But the heart and the function of the brain complicates things further. There are theories maybe they are myth, that the human brain works with more or less 10% of its capacity. But there are other theories, science tells us we use all of our brain capacity. We will let the future say what the truth is in this problem.
It’s possible to find answers even if it’s questionable, if we look at intellectual, mental and physical performance of some people performance is in a way where your mind stays in check. I reminds us only of unusual skills, abilities that are hard explained, incomprehensible even by modern science.
Like the ability to read two pages at once, with one eye. A man who did not forget anything in his life! Ease of doing mental calculations with huge numbers, effortlessly without mistakes. Supernatural reflexes and coordination of movements with extraordinary precision. People who do not feel pain because they can block the perception or prevent the bleeding of the body. some humans have been known to use echolocation for moving like bats, or cells become immune to stress and can run indefinitely. There is young people with an IQ exceeding the mental capacity of exceptional people (including A.Einstein). Children with breathtaking performance in chess, mathematics, art, etc.
And the list goes on.
We know that the brain processes information supplied by our five senses: sight, hearing, taste, smell, touch. Interestingly almost 75% of visual information comes through channels of sight. The eye is a true redoubt! Media knows the truth and have learned to exploit it. But before mass media this was known by the enemy of God Satan. This principle is simple and verified through Eve. Satan who drew her gaze, captured her attention, earned her interest.” Anyone who can steal our attention and interest easily is not far away from your heart, With all the consequences that come from this.
Our brain is still an enigma, but also our body is full of mystery. How can it work with mathematical precision with the entire human genetic material, DNA and RNA, metabolism, networks of neurons, synapses, biosynthetic processes, decomposition of substances, and so on… until the cellular level? How does a cell do its job, and remembers everything without fault? Who tells cells how and when to divide itself. How do cells know how to organize them-self to have the ability of self-regulation, self-preservation and self-reproduction. And many other incredible facts like these. Then
If you think all this while the chemical composition of the human body consists mainly of water.
We know that knowledge is directly related by science. However God has linked knowledge by Him, by His Name. How important is knowledge for God, we can understand by the place that He gave it which is central. He put it level with eternal life. Moreover its knowing Him, the Lord who knows everything is a condition of eternal life Why is this? He tied His knowledge by faith, not by science! We can say, the opposite of science. Because science requires experiment, to physically see, to repeat and requires evidence. In the biggest measure, God chose to make known Himself through faith, Which complicates more things. We are limited in potential, and he is infinite and firstly is spirit not from our material world.
The knowledge of good and evil had to have a bad start. As descendants of Adam and Eve we have lost all privilege to see the sight of God, but the good thing is we can still hear His voice:
Romans 10:17
“So faith comes from hearing; and hearing by the word of God.”
God tells us to take a step towards him. Do you desire to see the whole sky.? Put your foot down and pick your way through faith. Do not be afraid, for I call you by name you are mine from sunrise to sunset, because apart from me there is no God. The Lord gave His word of honor telling the truth! Therefore He wants us to believe just because From this perspective the word “faith” means to believe.
Many know the saying, “Thus says the Lord who made you and He that formed thee.I have not spoken in secret, in a dark corner of the earth. I never said Seek me in vain! I am the Lord and speak righteousness, I declare what is right. Come to me all.
In other words God wants to be heard and did this through speaking to our forefathers and prophets at many times and in many ways. In the last days spoken unto us by his Son. At Jesus baptism a voice from heaven, said “You are my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased”
He is the Word, and still speaks to us today, everything is done and seen by Him. He came directly to us:
John 1:14
“The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth. And we beheld His glory, glory as of the only begotten of the Father.”
Because man can not see God and live, only to us who knew and could make known to us was Jesus his Son. The Bible says:
John 1:1
“That the Word was from the beginning and was with God, and the Word was God”
The Word became flesh. He received human form appearing in all the power of love in and through His Son. Jesus said:
John 14:9
“Whoever has seen me has seen the Father.”
He presented it to us in these terms (paraphrased): Look it is He who is our God. How is this? As a father to His sons. “Recognize Him in all your ways.”
What was then wanted by the incarnate Word? The answer is short and is the root of faith.
To see, to believe in God! To be born again and to love. Jesus went to the bitter end for us to rid sin and choose it knowingly.
For some God is an empty promise. For others he is impersonal. There are those for whom Christ speaks and He hears. There are others who have not heard about him and do not know Christ personally.
John 14:7-9
If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father?”
But ultimately, what is the word to us?
It is an indicator that marks with a heavenly light. A narrow path parallel to other roads; a special way here on earth to eternal life.
It’s the only way lit with natural light.
Knowledge is like a tree as a word is like a seed. It portrays potential and energy because of “genetic” information inside it or “DNA“. It has specific power difficult to predict. It can germinate if it finds fertile ground, with other words, if it was accepted, respectively or believed. It can grow in strength and branch bearing fruit. We can think of the words “love” and “hate“, and see their potential. If it is accepted or trusted we water it, while it can germinate in our minds and at the roots of our hearts with incredible power. We can see its potential when it grows producing effects, including wars. The Bible speaks very suggestively in the parable of the sower and the parable of the tares Matthew 13: 1-30. Each divine word, every verse is like a seed of knowing which can germinate if it meets good ground. The parable of the Sower speaks conclusively in this sense. God said:
Isaiah 55:11
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
Roots can take hold in the human heart by divine contribution of The Holy Spirit. The Heart is the whole being encasing rationality, affection and will, not only in the mind. Through “divine seeds” that are his words, we reach and grasp knowledge of Him. The Bible urges “Taste and see that the Lord is good!”
To taste means internalize into your mind, into your affection and will.
You can crave how good He is, only after you’ve “tasted” Him, As in life you gain knowledge. Knowledge starts from the source of the root which brings pleasure and love. love is the last aim and target of God.
God himself gave us his word of honor that if we know Him, then love has no borders:
1 John 4:10-12
“This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice atoning for our sins. And to have eternal life gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish.”
Why? Because God loves this world, it doesn’t matter to Him if the world has closed eyes for Him or we don’t want to taste Him. From the divine perspective unawareness of Him means for us death! It is known very well for those who choose salvation. His word is not information for the sake of talking, but firstly it is power and life. Choosing him as Truth creates conditions, the seeds germinate truth and life deep inside your soul.
This is the meaning of his thought. We have chosen knowingly that the Word of God incarnate into our soul. Because there is understanding that he deserves to be honored because He loves us and also we need Him.
He made available for us a day! Today! The word is the “light of God” In this world passed the “dawn of mankind“. He appeared in broad daylight at noon, to be seen by anyone. But now the day is near to the end.
For those who missed the sunrise, because they loved more the night, and sleep it is not too late to find him, nor now at sundown.
If we seek the Lord He will not tell us that time is precious, or about our family, even every gift and blessing we have received. He offers us a special “recipe“. This is free, offset and easy to find. He said:
John 14:27
“I give you My peace.”
Take it by faith! It will help us to hear Him, making the difference between so many voices that speak to us. He knows what we lack, To crave His recipe, then we may begin to bathe in His Light!
But the word is a double-edged sword.
His will can be felt on our skin, by all who do not want to see him, or choose not to believe the Word. Those who have twisted the truth reducing it to an empty letter. All those for whom Jesus has not touched in their lives. To those whose commandment to Love was not the watch–word and certainly not the law!
It is the same for people who attend churches using His love and Light for selfish purposes.
So faith appears as a mode of self-selection depending on the answer to His call, those who see Him through the eyes of faith, and those who do not see Him with good intent. God has not withdrawn one of the essential rights he gave us free will, possibility of choice. He allowed mankind to be a free spirit. He let man to think about choice and to make informed choices. Man is solely responsible for the direction where to stretch out his hand. God will never be found guilty by wrong human choices.
However, God has stretched out His divine hand towards man. And He waits for each one of us, From creation to the end of days. He introduced Himself to us:
“I am who I am. Call me in the day of trouble because I am who saves. You are sick? I am who heals.
You are at war? I am the God of hosts. In relation with all the “truths” of this world I am the absolute Truth.
In relation with His earthly children I am your Father.
In relation with the whole creation I am the Life.”
God can be best seen when you’re alone in the midst of problems. Or when you have nobody else around. Then He can become your God, as it was for Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and to all who recognize His helping hand in difficult situations. The start of a quality friendship, because you know what kind of friend you have firstly when you need him. The whole human history proves to be a constant overlap of needs: needs of people and the need by God. A need vertically, needs by God, and needs horizontally needs of man. It balances only priority and the terms of solving sometimes up toward God, sometimes down towards man. Like the darkness hides the need of light, same evil implies the need of good.
Mankind fell bad. But this falling has created a new need, unknown until then: The need by God. The very existence of evil has created conditions of need by good. Whole of human history and evolution is understanding traumatic experiences of knowingness in all aspects of good and bad.
This because the knowingness is the key to treasure that hides power. God did not wants ignorance, stupidity, Neither intelligent robots with huge ego’s. He wanted men with immeasurable capabilities, but divine in their nature, as he is. He wanted a relationship with them in unity of thought, feeling, and will.
The tree of knowledge of good and evil is a tree that intertwines good and evil. Although both are limited evil has increased next to good. This creates potential confusion with the truth. Or is this the truth? maybe the devil is not so black like it seems. Especially when evil is just at the level of a small seed. Evil and good are not always easily distinguished. Sometimes only the experience of others can help you. In addition Satan has also his alternative to wisdom. He wants to give the tome of wisdom to all the world. And He has given generously!
God in His divine wisdom has not prohibited Satan and also did not limit the possibilities of knowledge to mankind. This is in relation with the freedom of choice reserved by Him to free beings created by Him.
When we speak of knowledge it must be emphasized a very important thing. This is in link with power and raises serious questions. In whose hands has all this information? Who are those which pull the strings? Who are the real beneficiaries? mankind has learned that who has information wields power!
The problem is even more complicated when we ask the question: who tells us what is good and what is bad? God or Satan?
This is the “Gordian knot“!
Balance of knowledge tilts to doubt and questions turned out to be the threshold of knowledge’s process generally. But also tilts to fear of the Lord, which is seen as being the beginning of wisdom. The story of mankind, the efforts of his thoughts and actions have rotated around thresholds of knowledge. If we have a look in passing at the speed of discoveries in all areas of life science, medicine, information, telecommunications etc we can see that mankind’s story reveals a huge effort and virtually unlimited cognitive potential. In nowadays it has known peaks and dizzying rhythms. There Should be then no surprise why God made this verb “know” the biggest thing for us. He linked it to eternal life. The Bible informs us:
John 17:3
And this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”
Because rational thinking asks proof of the existence of God. The Lord tells us in scripture:
Romans 1:19-20
For what can be known of God is manifest in them, for God had shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.”
Then how do we know God who is invisible and unseen? And knowledge from Him is not the only way to achieve immortality!
Interestingly the first step in the realm of knowledge of good and evil is fear. And with this step the eyes of man returned from God towards himself. With this step mankind puts his own person at the centre of attention, But he can’t see too much. Adam discovered that he was naked. Which was not a problem till then. Psychology today might interpret this gesture of the first people to fly, as a form of external manifestation of the need to do something with an inner emptiness. Today many people cover their true inner needs even their true nature under a mask, Forgetting their real identity. Mostly because the want the world to see them with eyes that they want to be seen with or to accept them.
In the same direction is to be afraid to confess your faith in Jesus Christ to the people can have very serious connotations. God has a very categorical attitude. According to verse in Revelation 21:8 the first sinners that will be found in hell will not be those with heavy sins, heavy from our point of view but will first be all the cowards!
Revelation 21:8
“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murders, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake burns with fire and brimstone Which, is the second death.”
Surprising! The cowardly is more exposed to hell than murderers and the sexually immoral? The first thing the Bible mentions, after the fall of Adam and Eve when they were afraid is:
Genesis 3:10
“I have heard your voice and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”
Biblically fear is not in relation with courage. First of all it has to do with disbelief in God. It is a manifestation of the separation by God, a broken relationship.
In fear are the seeds of everything that means “without God” with all its implications. It also means that man has looked towards himself and not towards the almighty. Mankind measured and weighs the Lord by human measure and dishonors God. It is an obstacle blocking the relationship with Him. It’s a kind of fear that keeps you away from Him, or can paralyze the confession of trust in Him. Along with idolatry, it is one of the most offending attitudes. Fear turns out to be the first clue of ignorance. This can be also a sign of distrust in God’s power with consequence to discredit Him.
The same effect is in relation with shameful talk about Jesus.
Luke 9:26
For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of Him the Son of Man Will Be ashamed When He Comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.”
But if fear stops, faith can begin and courage can continue.
When we know we master the situation more confident and have more courage to do something in that direction. Moreover through experience received we have more confidence in ourselves. loosing insecurity and fear, in the limits of our conservation instinct. Yet fear is directly related to the knowledge of God, and of love and wisdom. God has started again exactly where the relation with Him was broken. His Word says:
Proverbs 9:10
“Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”
If the general plan of knowing requires accumulation of time at individual levels things can be seen relatively quickly. Every individual experience has an effect, sooner or later.
To know evil, to try, to experiment implies, ultimately to “taste” him.
From this perspective, who guarantees that evil will not be internalized into your being, into your soul? Consciously or not. Look more closely at people who have gone from a glass of alcohol to becoming drunkards. Experimenting with drugs can lead to murdering another person. And the list goes on.
Accepting evil creates conditions for us to “identify” with him, losing human dignity and our place created in his image and likeness. There are many situations where a drunk man loses everything his job, and his family. Material situations only because of drinking. But there are situations when it is enough just to touch evil once. Reality shows us the value of Bible truth in many situations, including when you touch only once evil and you may pay with your life. Think of a single sexual contact with a person infected with one of the venereal diseases like Aids, or other diseases like leprosy. We sometimes say that life is rough but reality is life is lovely, War is rough and doesn’t forgive!
The Bible speaks in terms of slavery, buying, possession. This precisely highlights and raises awareness about affiliation by evil things and the authority of the devil over mankind. Exiting from under this authority assumes a price an exchange, like requirements at slaves markets in the case of prisoners. Spiritual war as we are all in, requires an exchange this is a war of life and death. A war that you can not see, that it is not yours, but you’re a belligerent part of it Whether you like it or not. You are either defeated or victorious. The choice belongs to you!
Information generally has his price and his consequences.
In other hand, knowledge has a projection towards the verb “to be” with profound intrinsic connotations in recognizing the value of self, a good name, fame, reputation and glory! And here you have to pay a price. This can be a price of self-sacrifice, financial, time or renunciation of other pleasures and so on.
But the Bible calls all this “vanity” compared with the boundless knowledge of God. Because to build a life without God is vanity:
1 Corinthians 13:2
“If I understand all mysteries and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, and I would not love, I am nothing.”
On the other hand neither ignorance and gullibility are not desirable. stupidity costs us. In addition together with misinformation and other techniques of manipulation they can become levers of control both at an individual level and collectively too.
God has sadness regarding knowledge He said:
Hosea 4:6
“My people have destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
He also said:
Romans 1:22
“Claiming to be wise they became fools. Because they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what is not proper. Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, without understanding, untrustworthy word, without natural affection, implacable, merciless.”
This is because:
John 3:19
“Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil For everyone who does evil hates the light, neither cometh to the light, lest I be exposed.”
Facts “Unfortunately” not only do we do the same but also approve of those who practice it. We know God’s decree that if we practice such things we are worthy of death. If we choose the darkness, we will remain in the darkness, which raises a pertinent question.
Why in our days can we not see the manifestations of signs and wonders from the days of Jesus and His apostles?
We see miracles nowadays but sporadically. One thing is certain, God wanted and still wants his Word to be accompanied by signs and wonders. This he has proven. The Bible says that wonders targets primarily unbelievers and helps them to believe. The problem is we look to man, but not to God. Mankind can obstruct the manifestation of the power of the Word and The Holy Spirit.
Jesus himself said:
Matthew 13:58
Because of their unbelief He did not do many mighty works.”
In addition the man of God himself can be an obstacle, because his life is not in according with the Word. There are not many who want to pay the price of faith and holiness. The Bible speaks of a “narrow way“. This means a lot in terms of holiness and a life in accordance with His will. God wants us not to be wasteful and not to force anyone to believe. The Lord will not put gifts of His Holy Spirit into vessels which are not clean. In addition:
Luke 12:48
“For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask more.”
And many of His spokesman forget this big responsibility:
2 Timothy 2:4
“No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.”
Luke 9:62
But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
Unfortunately, many (no few!) of the spokesmen will say in the day of judgment:
Matthew 7:22-23
“Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in your name, and done many wonders in Your name?” Then God will declare to them “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.”
God’s people became less filled with the Spirit of God and their speck is more academic than under the influence and power of the Holy Spirit.
But The truth came to light: “Whoever abides in Him does not sin; Whoever sins has not seen, neither known. Only he that doeth truth cometh to the light, to be shown the deeds have been wrought in God. Because who remain in love dwells in God, and God in him.”
In other words Whoever does not love does not know God; for God is love.
This is the other side of the coin of knowledge. It is good to know and not to forget! This is a priority in knowledge.
Why knowledge of God and Jesus?
The Bible urges:
Hosea 6:3

God wanted to be known by man.
Man is seen as the “crown of creation“, i.e. a level unattainable by other created beings. This is not a human pretension, proving that God would not unduly bound His name to a creature mediocre in potential.
1 Corinthians 13:10-11
“For we know in part But when that which is perfect has come then that which is in ‘part‘ will be done away.”
Today modern science has taken threshold of human potential achieving the unimaginable.
Man is not only a material being. He had been designed to be like God. This means body, soul and spirit. Science has reached certainly some very important thresholds in knowledge of human potential in a material level. But it remain more at the level of ambitious in other areas that make up a human being. Science should not be surprised if one day it will find what was discovered was only the tip of the iceberg. In support of this idea we can begin from isolated cases of individuals with capabilities far beyond any scientific explanation, including what we now call geniuses and supernatural things. If it’s possible for one person, than its possible for a second. The most important thing for man is to be designed originally with these abilities and possibilities of manifestation. In addition, we can add aspects of communication at the level of thinking telepathy, the ability for fast movement, like teleportation, the ability for transition from the spiritual world into the material, and the ability to be simultaneously in two places, to create a tangible reality through the power of the word. And the list can go on however this list seems shifted from daily reality.
What today we see only in movies, Scientific fantasy or belonging to the imagination can become reality tomorrow, or they can remain only experiments.
The Bible speaks in few words about the power of the coming age. We understand them in the terms of signs and wonders. But they will be part of traits considered normal for another reality that God prepares.
What today a few people can do, tomorrow may be a common feature for everyone. What we call impossible today, tomorrow everything can be possible. Jesus said:
Mark 9:23
“All things are possible to him that believeth”
John 14:12-13
“Most assuredly, I say to you, He Who believes in Me, the works that I do, He Will Do Also; and Greater works than He Will do, Because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I Will do, That the Father May be glorified in the Son.”
For all of this bears the finger print of Jesus, of the Word and the power of God and The Holy Spirit. Today He manifested this power through His men, through His spokesman. They have the first fruits of His Holy Spirit but also have gifts of The Holy Spirit. This potential is given by the Spirit and shows in a reduced form what the Bible calls the “powers of the coming age.” But their sense is to follow the Word for the benefice of people, for their salvation but not for spectacle or for money. God said:
Acts 2:17-18
“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that I Will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your Daughters Shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men Shall dream dreams. And on My men servants and on My maidservants I pour out My Spirit Will in Those Days; And they shall prophesy.”
God is preparing “Eye has not seen, nor ear Heard Nor have Entered into the heart of man The things Which God has Prepared for Those Who Love Him.”
All these things and many others still not talked about prove many things:
1. Man was indeed created in the image of the Trinity with potential able to relate and be compatible. The very fact that God has linked His name with the Jewel of his creation can say many things.
2. The word is not an empty word. It can develop into a big power with long-term consequences. The effects of the events can be seen even now, even if that power is not yet accessible to many and not easy to understand.
3. This proves that there is a “tomorrow” and a space, when the whole potential will be activated for the purpose for which it was designed initially.
4. But God does not focus on these things, even if they are extraordinary. He does them with a purpose. He prepares them to accompany His Word with an ultimate goal.
5. salvation of the soul and as a secondary means. In the same time, this was an indirect way to speak about God about His power but also about His love for man. He hopes that this is enough for us to understand his will. Mankind and the saving of souls are the most precious jewels to Him. He have given them divine attention because of his name, general plan and of his grace as we are made in his image.
1 Corinthians 13:2
6. “Even if we understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, and I do not have love, I am nothing.”
7. We will see His love and power more when we will be together with Him. Then we shall be like him in most respects. This was given to man as a great privilege. It is only a matter of time till humans will understand better his will.
1 Corinthians 12
“Now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then shall I know even as I was and am fully known.”
If we only know in “part” our potential we have been able to do so many atrocities, mass destruction, wars that shook the earth, murders, looting, etc what would we be capable off if we had all our potential? Gods purpose justifies us using the whole of our human potential. Bringing to light all the “gold deposits” of the entire human spectrum will not mean economic and social accumulation, selfishness, injustice, exploitation, etc.
Knowledge of Him has an effect the recognition of Him as “one who can” manage everything. At a collective level he will be recognized as a wise Manager full of potential cognitively, on all altruistic principles and divine.
And at individual level He will be recognized as a good God that is pleasing and desirable, and the relationship with him will not be an empty desire.
A story for children. It will be a relationship of mutual acquaintance, a family relationship based on unity of thought, views, desires and of pleasures.
The Bible will not be a timeless story book. It will be the Word of God:
Hebrews 4:12
“living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”
Speaking about His word The Bible, you’ll not judge it as a simple history book, but you will see a reliable source of knowledge about past, present and about the anticipation of future events.
Gods Word will become a living reality that can transform us into His image and likeness, and his nature, putting us once again firmly in His will.
On everything that the Devil put his fingers in not only defiled, he also has authority over mankind that accept him. Everything will be beautifully recreated from scratch.
No reconditioning, but a new creation! Check mate for Satan!
Today Gods spokesman have testified about this reality. It began by faith and came into being in his life. This verity gives us a new breath of life. Now we have spread the fragrance of knowledge of God.
To him the Word is not an empty promise just to fill time. Because now they know each other, there is communication between them. Communication called prayer based trust. Prayer became for him like the breath of the soul. A Word inspired that never expired from his soul!
Lucifer abused his trust in The Lord. He left his place and role which was a big privilege by God. But in parallel with Satan, God’s believers will never forget that they do not deserve anything from God. Not only in the terms of salvation from eternal torments of hell, but also because they are justified in getting a huge inheritance, Without any merit! They will have many motivations to thank God for all eternity, to glorify Him, praise Him, to sing from a heart full of gratitude, and to have abundant joy. He was not our savior only for personal needs, called in the middle of trouble. But He is our Father. We will praise the goodness of Him and his divine love, because we “tasted” Him and experienced all the love, Passing through all evil. This in a few words is lessons learned from the “School of Life“! It confirms once again the truth that disease teaches you to value health.
God Himself changed evil into good:
Romans 8:28
The other hand, we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, namely, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
God asked to be praised by those who love Him. Only then you can praise truly.
Lucifer gave honor and sang to God in a formal way, without value. He didn’t cherish God. Bible says that we can do many things for the Lord but if these things are made without love, including praise, all are like sounding brass or a clanging symbol.
Only praise springs from gratefulness, and a thankful heart receives value with noble connotations. Only God’s sons can do this, because he will not forget those who are forgiven and loves very much.
Luke 7:47
“And to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”
This recognition is and will be at the base of his praise. But in the same time is one of the most important principles underlying God’s plan for man’s salvation. It comprises forgiving and love!
To love the Creator that you have never seen, and never met face to face, but you gave your life as a martyr while singing songs of praise and hosannas, is beyond logical reason. It rises far above expectations of angels and any other heavenly beings. It touches astral heights unknown by any other being ever created. This is mankind recreated through The word of God, receiving divine nature and his image. Finding deep inside the first fruits of His Spirit.
The Bible informs us that Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass, and will come the day when the earth shall be full of knowledge of the Lord like water covers the sea bed.
The Bible also says something interesting.
A time will come when we all will reach unity in faith and knowledge of the Son of God. to be a perfect man, measure and stature of the fullness of Christ. Only Jesus knew and was able to overcome knowledge as it is seen by scientists of our age. The Bible is full of incredible situations unexplained which we call miracles. From healing that goes beyond scientific potential, including from the power of a word. Controlling and subjecting forces of nature. knowing thoughts of man past and present. To know exactly the words that someone will say in a given time. And resurrecting the dead!
I guess you could say that there is someone who knows about this and has the key! Accessing this huge amount of potential to be regarded as entry into legacy, Inheritance of the age to come.
If as a produce chemical mankind does not have to many reasons to be proud. Heavens perspective the terms of discussion will change. Will it be a surprise that all who understand that fear of Lord is the beginning of wisdom, will be the lawful heirs of this mystery?
Conclusion of the whole matter is:
Ecclesiastes 12:13
“Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s
all”
Because all of them had the wisdom of God in their hearts and not the wisdom of the world. Because they made from the knowledge of God the purpose in their life and this was their main delight. All of them passed the tests of truth, including the great test God’s wisdom, not wisdom of the world that puffs up everything. It can however, be a surprise to people, Maybe those who did not believe God and what he said. But then the surprise will be an unpleasant revelation!
Only then knowledge will be in good hands. Without any fear!
1 John 4:18
Because there is no fear in love. but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fear has not been made perfect in love.”
All is well and ends well! God changes evil into good and does all things wonderful in their time. That’s because all things work for the good of those who love Him.
He can change evil into good but also has a legitimate right to say what is right and what is wrong for man but also for the whole of his creation.
He allowed evil to speak his own words. He permitted evil to be seen, spreading seeds and offers. God chose not to be known in the same way as the devil. He enters into your home without knocking. Moreover, sometimes he camouflaged himself into an “angel of light“. Instead, God is a gentleman! He waits to be invited. God enters your home exactly when mankind invites him into his heart.
There is a decisive, appointed moment, when man turns his back from evil because he saw the seed and the true face of Satan. He turns his back to the deceiver but turns his face towards God. The Bible calls it repentance.
This is an expression of the fact that you had tasted evil but didn’t like its flavor. Repentance is the moment of returning to the Lord. God stands open arms waiting to be invited into your life. It is when you give God his right to change your sinful ways. This step is a step in faith. Maybe it’s a small step but it has immense value and cause for celebration in heaven. In the same time, God appreciates your decision and feels honored by your faith.
Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is chosen by God because faith is the substance hoped for, evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1-3
“By faith we understand that the world was framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”
Hebrews 11:6
“Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
And another reason that is in relation with the love of God, that on the way to faith nobody looses himself including intelligent potential.
Knowledge does not depend directly on sight. Satan had the privilege to look at God’s face. He even praised God through songs, but he never really knew Him. He had no gratitude for all that he received by God, and he never loved Him. Evil had time spread seeds and make himself known. Bad sprouted and many took hold.
God did not want mankind to know evil. But He made out of evil the knowledge of good! This is what the Bible calls “the manifold wisdom of God“.
But this is not only the knowledge of good but also a way to give value. Man escaped from a disease, has learned some lessons: now he knows to value his health, and never to repeat it. In other words he started to have more wisdom, and will teach his children about these things. This in essence Mankind becomes his witnesses, the most important missions for understanding.
As I have said God did not want man to know evil. He wanted us to remain only with the knowledge of good. In a brief summary we can say that knowledge of good can be done in two ways, direct and indirectly.
Direct way is by obedience to God, namely by faith, This means experience directly and knowledge directly with goodness and His power. This is considered wise through wisdom. Mankind will learn lessons of life at school, in His home and at church. Then God will be with him and pick him up no matter how many times he will fall at life’s tests. In addition, school is free. Jesus paid for all his lessons. In the currency of his blood.
The other way of knowledge is indirectly, the knowledge of good through evil.
Evil becomes the modality of knowledge “goodness” But in this way you pay for each lesson, and suffer the consequences of ignorance sometimes your whole life. Because at the School of Life, you give the exam and after this you learn the lesson! Strange way to experience the knowledge of evil! And in addition you are alone!
God did everything that could be done, including signs and wonders that belong to the next age. The Bible says that they are for unbelievers, to help them.
2 Peter 1:3-4
“He has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who has called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
Philippians 2:10
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth.
For ultimately God has the last word in all and Jesus Christ His son, remains the Keyword for knowledge!
Revelation 23:13
“He is Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the last.”
Even if from the book of the knowledge of good and evil on earth in this period of time, it will be read from cover to cover. We will find one day that in terms of knowledge, we still are at the bottom of the page of God’s holy book. And everything we have built now in this limited period of time, our theories, principles, laws and truth and values, will prove that its was just simple drafts, always exceeded by the reality of God.
And after all, when does it profit a man to know everything and to lose his soul?
Hebrews 1:10-12
“You Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heaven are the work of Your hands, They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But you are the same, And Your years will not fail.”
