**Position Summary**
The NDT Technician Level II will perform UT, MT, PT and NDT industrial inspections onshore / offshore of piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, and structural components.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
* Conduct tests with Ultrasonic Testing equipment for various components and materials.
* Conduct tests in other NDT methods.
* Prepare, set-up and complete all necessary documents.
* Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results through formal report paperwork.
* Set up and calibrate inspection equipment.
* Responsible for training and supervising Level I UT trainees and other NDT trainees.
* Must be able to travel and work on a call-out basis, both domestic and international.
* Assist other technicians.
* Work in harsh environments.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
_Supervisory Responsibilities_
Will direct the work of trainees and Level I personnel.
**Qualifications**
_ Education and/or Experience_
High school diploma or general education equivalency degree (GED) and minimum two (2) years of documented UT Level II Shearwave work experience. Must be able to certify to ASNT-TC-1A Level II required.
Additional Required:
* Must have a minimum of 80 hours of documented UT training per SNT-TC-1A.
* API QUTE qualification and/or AWS D1.1 UT experience a plus.
* Surface method Level II certifications are preferred: PT, MT, and/or VT.
* Must be able to pass Safe Gulf & HUET Water Survival training. Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC card, valid Passport, Safe Gulf & HUET Water Survival.
