Duties & Responsibilities
**Purpose **
The primary responsibility of this position is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities of a single or multiple projects to ensure that goals or objectives of project are safely accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters and the customer receives a quality product or service which meets or exceeds all of the customer requirements.
**Functions**
**ESSENTIAL**
* Define project equipment, manpower and space needs; and ensures that production capacity is available during the bid stage.
* Create bids as necessary
* Set up and monitors project budget.
* Work with engineering to assist customer in preparation of design ideas and specifications.
* Conduct presentations and assists with sales and marketing activities.
* Coordinate the activities of project engineers and designers to develop preliminary sketches, calculations, drawings in the development of quotation preparation.
* Interface with internal and external customers and management throughout all phases of projects.
* Works with functional grups to prepare, review and approve quality plans and technical procedures.
* Develop project plan that details time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources required to execute various phases of project.
* Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
* Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
* Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
* Conduct and attend kickoff, handover and closeout meetings and weekly or bi-weekly project team meetings.
* Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modiy schedules or plans as required.
* Work closely with engineering on detail designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and all documents related to meeting customer specifications.
* Create and manage risk register and risk mitigation plan.
* Work with Project Coordinator to generate purchase requisitions; review and approve supplier invoices.
* Prepare project reports, forecast, variance explanations and other technical and financial reports for management, client, or others.
**ADDITIONAL**
* Confer with project personnel to provide advice and to resolve problems.
* Review and approve project invoices and resolve accounts receivable issues with customer.
* Work with funcitonal groups to validate and verify all project hardware.
* Work closely with Operations Manager and other personnel on project execution.
* Direct preparation of, review and approve as-built data books.
* Travel domestically and overseas as needed.
* Maintain training requirements as directed by management.
* Other duties as assigned.
**Supervisory Responsibilities**
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
**Qualifications**
**REQUIRED**
* BS in Engineering, and/or extensive industry experience
* Five (5) to ten (10) years related experience and/or training
* Experience in Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and Electrical Logic
* Full scope Decommissioning experience
* Multi-string conductor drilling, severing and removal
* Internal and external cutting operations on single and multi-string structures
* Diamond wire saw operations – topside and subsea
* Internal and external dredging
* Plugging and abandonment
* Must hold/maintain a valid passport and be able to obtain visas for international travel
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
* Ability to learn and navigate in PeopleSoft or similar enterprise management software, AutoCAD®, SolidWorks, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

* Offshore / oilfield operational experience

**Working Conditions**
* This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
* Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
* Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place.
* Work surface is stable (flat).

* Requirement to frequently visit clients' office for status meetings
* Requirement to visit/audit offshore worksite monthly
* Incumbent must be able to go on immediate assignment (1 yr.) in Indonesia
* 24/7 availability required for certain projects
* Requirement to relocate to SE Asia for a minimum of one year within one month of hire date. Details to be discussed further in interview.
