By turning the bamboo to sawdust and combining it with rice starch and an all natural plant based binder, Natural Home has been able to develop an innovative process that transforms these sustainable compounds into colorful kitchenware.
We were sent some great items from the MOBOO line including a 4 pack of Nesting Ribbed Bowls ($28), Mini Wish End Whisk ($7.99), Hand Grater ($9.99), Pairing Knife ($4.99), Large Angled Spatula ($7.99) and Spoon Rest ($6.99). I appreciated that every package or tag had the product’s materials and components clearly listed and the labels themselves were made of recycled paper. By both looking and touching these gadgets, I would never assume that they were anything different than normal high quality kitchen essentials. Each item is modern and stylish but what truly stood out was the overall strength and durability of every product. None of these gadgets felt like they were made from traditional cheap plastic, instead these were far more sturdy and it was not hard to see that each of these Natural Home items were crafted from something better.
Also available from Natural Home are a wide variety of products that are perfect for keeping your home both clean and green! Each item contain active ingredients which are plant based and also rapidly biodegradable, so all of them are sustainable and safe for humans, animals and plants. You can also say goodbye to those harsh fumes since botanical essential oils make Natural Home cleaning products smell fresh and natural as well.
We received the Multi Surface Cleaner ($6.99), Hand Soap ($5.99) in the Herb Garden scent, Dish Soap ($5.99) in the Simply Citrus scent and a Lady Dish Brush ($5.99), as well as some items from Smart 4 Nature line, which include reusable kitchen cloths, dish scrubs and scouring pads that all work to eliminate the use and added expense of paper towels. Prior to trying any of the cleaning supplies, I decided to smell them and was so pleasantly surprised at the aromatic scents. A big qualm I have had with natural cleaning products in the past is that they simply do not work as well as their chemical filled counterparts. Thankfully, Natural Home feels that their consumers should not have to deal with poorly performing products and have every one of their cleaning products specifically designed and tested to work equal to, if not better than, their non-green alternatives. This was truly the biggest highlight of this collaboration for me since I have been searching for a environmentally conscious cleaning line that I can count on for quite some time.
Natural Home even carries various sustainable items that I found especially unique such as products made of recycled glass, organic cotton and actual bamboo. I have yet to explore a few of these eco-friendly options and was thrilled to see some included in our package. We were sent an Organic Cotton Oven Mitt ($14.99), Recycled Glass Soap and Lotion Dispenser ($11.99), Recycled Glass Oil Cruet ($10.99), Bamboo Salad Hands ($9.89) and a Bamboo Veggie Brush ($7.99). I was so impressed at how thick, sturdy and well made both of the recycled glass products were. I have been wanting an oil cruet for quite some time but those I have come across have been very expensive. The one we received from Natural Home was not only affordable, it was superior to the various others I have previously seen. Our oven mitt was durable yet soft inside so slipping it on while preparing a meal is a pleasure rather than a task and it was a joy becoming familiar with actual bamboo items since they carry less bacteria than the usual cooking gadgets.
I would never think sustainable eco-friendly products could be better than their standard equivalents but Natural Home has definitely changed my views. It is a delight to see that families can choose more natural, environmentally friendly items without breaking the bank or sacrificing quality.
