Sample sale season is underway, and we're looking for one dedicated reporter to man a good portion of our extensive coverage, and one listings editor to maintain our sales page. Do you obsess over sales like it's your job? Well, for the months of May and June, maybe it could be.

Sample Sale Reporter:

We're looking for someone to cover a minimum of three sample sales a week in May and June. Responsibilities would include attending the sale on opening day and occasionally lineblogging, writing up a detailed, full report, checking in on markdowns throughout the week and updating the original post when necessary, and staying engaged in the comments section to answer reader questions.

The ideal candidate would have a very flexible schedule and open availability in the mornings. You should be extremely knowledgeable about New York City's sample sale culture, be able to tell the difference between a good sale and a bad one, and not be intimidated by lines like this. This is a part-time position paying a flat monthly rate. If you think you're right for the job, send an email to jobs@racked.com and tell us a little bit about yourself.

Listings Editor:

Racked NY is looking to hire a part time listings editor for the months of May and June, to handle the publishing of sample sale listings. This is a great way to make some easy money during the sale season, while becoming incredibly knowledgeable about where all the best sales are. It's a good first fashion position for an ambitious newbie.

Responsibilities include writing listings and adding them to our monthly sale lists and maps, adding published sale reports to the existing listings, and maintaining a chronological spreadsheet of all sales.

The ideal candidate is organized with a keen attention to detail. This is a remote part-time position with a flat monthly rate, though you would be required to check in daily and be responsive over email. If you think you're right for the job, send an email to jobs@racked.com and tell us a little bit about yourself.
