Self-proclaimed "plant stylist" Satoshi Kawamoto has relocated his Green Fingers plant boutique to Spiritual America's former home at 5 Rivington Street, Bowery Boogie reports. Luckily, the greenery didn't have to travel very far—Kawamoto only relocated from East 1st Street after his two-year lease expired.
While you may not have stopped into the plant shop yet, you might already be familiar with Kawamoto's work: Since Green Fingers established a New York City branch in 2013, lush installations have been created for Sleepy Jones's Bowery pop-up shop, Dumbo's Front General Store, and Noho's Filson (seen above). But his affiliation with fashion goes back even further in his native Japan, with partnerships including Gant Rugger, Pilgrim Surf + Supply, and Freeman's Sporting Club.
