Press Release

As you may know, Capitol Cider always has 20 ciders and 10 beers on tap, but on very special occasions, they give their beer selection a little extra TLC. Such an occasion starts May 12 for Seattle Beer Week. Capitol Cider will feature new beers and host events throughout the month. Cider and Beer Manager Jonathan Chambers has outdone himself yet again with this awesome schedule of beer-infused festivities.

May 13 – For the third year, Capitol Cider’s Seattle Beer Week Launch event will feature Engine House 9 out of Tacoma, WA with nine beers on tap and an E9 flight.

May 17 – Lagers and Legos, featuring eight beers on draft from Orlison Brewing. Tuesday night is normally game night at Capitol Cider, and for this edition, they’ll have Lego pieces to play with (or bring your own!) and the Lego Movie playing.

May 18 – “Beer Camp” with Sierra Nevada. Preview a very limited selection of Sierra Nevada collaborations with local breweries. This is the only Seattle Beer Week event featuring this lineup of beers.

May 19 – Graf’fest, featuring only beers brewed with apple juice, or beers mixed with finished cider, from companies in our ‘hood and across the country.
