KIRO Radio 97.3/Seattle announces a new morning show for the Bonneville FM News/Talker. Hosted by popular Northwest media personality, John Curley, and veteran pop-culture enthusiast Tom Tangney, The Tom and Curley Show airs weekdays from 9am-noon. Curley is one of the most recognized personalities in the Northwest after hosting nearly four-thousand shows during a 14-year span as the host of KING-TV’s Evening Magazine. His new on-air partner Tangney started at KIRO Radio in 1994 after serving as a document analyst for the Washington state attorney general’s office. He also worked as a movie theatre manager and projectionist, and became one of the most highly sought after movie critics in America. “The partnership between John and Tom is electric and we’re excited to offer our audience such a great program to keep them informed and connected to Seattle,” said KIRO-FM Program Director Pete Gammell. “The combination of Curley’s enthusiasm and Tangney’s intellect is the perfect mixture for KIRO Radio’s weekday lineup.”
