Police have claimed they have finally solved the mystery of the murder of NRI Jaskaran Singh, 33, two months ago. They have booked his wife, a Canadian NRI for arranging his murder. He was found murdered in Sawara village in Kharar on March 16.
The police arrested four persons, Lakhbir Singh, Davinder Singh, Bhawanpreet Bhangu, and Gurpreet Singh, for their part in the murder of Jaskaran, upon the orders of his estranged wife Pawandeep Kaur who paid the assassins Rs.250,000
Jaskaran a property dealer, was living with his parents for almost a year. His body was found in the fields of Sawara near shacks behind a primary school He had been stabbed multiple times on his chest, stomach and private parts.
Jaskaran had constructed a building that he named Ekum Complex, opposite Thunder Zone, an amusement park, and had rented out 12 shops, he is a cousin of the Punjabi lyricist Jass Sawara,
Jaskaran had a strained relationship with his wife Pawandeep, both of whom are settled in Canada with their son and daughter.
