MRH, your statement here is almost the most foolish and doctrinally unsound that I’ve ever heard from you! You said, “A true Christian can’t deny Christ, only a false Christian can, Which means they were never saved to begin with.. pretenders.”

You’re saying Peter was a “false Christian”! See how foolish your theology is?! Furthermore, there is no such thing as a “false Christian” anymore than one can be almost pregnant! They either are (in both cases) or they aren’t! There are wolves in sheep’s clothing but they were NEVER sheep! I believe I’m talking to one now…

“A true Christian can’t deny Christ, only a false Christian can, Which means they were never saved to begin with.. pretenders.”

Tell that to a faithful brother or sister in Christ who loves Him, but lack trust in Him because they haven’t walked with Him for a long time, and the blade is about to lop off their heads or their child is about to be victimized by a savage if they don’t reject Christ! Fear can cause one to betray Christ very easily, but they were saved up to that point. LIke Peter, they too, can repent and be restored to a relationship with Christ! When one betrays Christ in this manner AND DOESN’T REPENT, Christ tells us in Mark 8: 38,** “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”**

Someone professing to be a Christian who lives like the devil couldn’t care less if they are ashamed of Him or not! Their actions scream louder than words that they are not living for Him, and therefore, they will reap what they sow. God will never bless a demon or one who lives like one! One cannot live like the devil and inherit the Kingdom of Heaven! Oh, they can expect to, but they’ll be seriously let down on Judgment Day! It just doens’t work! I’ll challenge you and whoever else would like to take it up, to show to me and all on here one Scripture verse that backs up the OSAS fallacy! Bring it on!

DO NOT use this verse: “2 Corinthians 1:22 – Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.”

This is true while we are under the protective covering of the blood of Christ, Exod. 12. The moment we backslide to the point that we can no longer hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, we have been given over. Rom. 1 doesn’t only apply to homosexuality, when one looks at the broader picture. It’s a Biblical principle for ALL sin!

You said, “Once the holy seed is implanted within us it can’t be removed by any means whatsoever.”

Let’s see some Scriptural proof for this! There is none! The Calvinistic argument (perhaps they really weren’t saved to begin with) won’t work! It’s as weak as water, and who are we to judge or to determine if they were truly saved or not? Some don’t produce lambs for Christ; some bear good fruit of the Spirit, but their roots are in rocky soil because there is nobody there to nurture them along. They ultimately die, and other Christians will be responsible for these “crib deaths”!

To say that perhaps they weren’t truly saved to begin with is the same as saying a spiritual rapture took place in 1928, and we’ve been left behind! Apart from what God’s Word has to say on the rapture, how can one prove it has or it hasn’t if it’s “spiritual” and cannot be seen? That’s a weak cop out! It’s easy to speculate and to postulate when one steps outside of the authority of God’s Word. Show us the proof that your statement is correct, and I will shoot it down with the inerrant and infallible Word of God! Please keep it in context or you’re just wasting your time!

You even contradicted yourself, my friend: “” We are saved unto the uttermost when we obey the gospel message of salvation!”

You put a qualifying condition upon that statement: “…when we obey…” We must obey! A backslider has no interest in obeying God, but instead, they obey the lusts of the flesh and serve Satan. The seal is broken! They entered into a covenant relationship with God through Christ; they can also break it because they initiated it by inviting Him into their life in the first place.

What is a backslider, MRH? It is a person who has moved ahead in their faith walk with Christ, lost sight of Him, and then reverted back into their old sinful ways! They were saved or this faith walk could never have begun! Many of them have served Him faithfully for many years, and then one day, for whatever reason(s), they take their eyes off of Him either by getting lazy in their Bible reading or prayer life (if they had one to begin with), and lack of solid Christian fellowship and mentoring. Before long, they’ve found another to give their love, affections and loyalty to. He’s left standing outside the door of their heart, as we see in Rev. 3: 20. Oh yes, He was in there before; they were saved! At some point, they probably would’ve laid their lives down for Him, but Satan somehow managed to get in and to squeeze Christ out. Many serously committed Bible believing Christians get careless; some even become seriously disenfranchised with Christ and the Church because of the hypocrisy or lack of solid Bible teaching within God’s house.

Without Christ, there is no admission to the Kingdom! Calvinism teaches that the whole world could gladly bend the knee to Him today, confess Him tomorrow, and diss Him next week, and still be “saved”! Wrong! He’s either Lord of everything or He’s not Lord at all! Regardless of what John Calvin preached, Christ taught that we cannot serve two masters; we will love one and hate the other. He will not hang around for divided loyalties! Would you? Christ said, “A house divided against itself will not stand.” To live with one foot in the Kingdom and the other in the den of iniquity will land one in Hell and the Lake of fire.

We cannot seriously believe that we can whore around with the world and then spend an eternity with the Heavenly Bridegroom! Not going to happen! He wants a pure Church, without spot or wrinkle, washed in the blood of the Lamb, not covered with mud and sewage from the world’s cesspool of sin and iniquity!

When we step out from under God’s protective and cleansing covering of the blood and start to live for ourselves and other gods that we erect in our lives, Christ cannot and will not stay there! He will not share His house (our temple) with demons or other gods that we have replaced Him with. He cannot be Lord of all if we don’t give Him what He wants the most…our hearts! For Him to persist upon staying beyond a certain point of wooing and conviction, would make Him an unwanted squatter, and that He WILL NOT be! Many can testify how they at one time loved the Lord and were happy to serve Him, but “things” began to take preeminence over Him, and before long, He was dethroned in their hearts. These very same people are overjoyed that they didn’t die in that backslidden condition because they knew they would go to Hell and ultimately the lake of fire. Why? They learned one cannot serve two masters, just as Christ said! They would hate one and love the other.

As for using Rom. 8: 35-39…don’t waste your time! Of course, no man can pluck you out of God’s hand;man didn’t give you salvation to begin with! However, YOU can cognitively and wilfully take yourself out of God’s hand by rejecting Him and living for self and other gods, as I’ve already stated. The act of being saved is a cognitive, personal, and internal act of the willing participant. No external person, being, thing, or force can take away your salvation because they didn’t give it to you to begin with! Plain and simple! God’s Word is replete with people who started out serving Him and then they dropped Him like a hot spud and walked away from Him.

Can they ever be saved again? Sure they can! Christ made it abundantly clear that the prodigal is always welcomed by the Father! If they are sincere, repentant, and have had enough of this world’s slop, God will NEVER reject them! His heart and hand is still open to the “whosoever will”! While there is breath, there is still hope of being saved. God’s mercies and compassions are new every morning, Lam. 3: 22, 23. This is what makes God’s grace so amazing!

MRH, I don’t appreciate the way you set out to propagate strife and division on here or in Ron’s life! For your information, I’m not playing any kind of “game” as you deceptively stated! Get off your limping pony and stick to the Scriptures! Just because I will not agree with your liberal theology and very poor “home-schooling” of the same, does not mean I do not know what I’m talking about! I resent that divisive statement, and the planting of doubt in Ron’s mind, and that of others who are reading your posts!

In the past, we’ve all seen you so mixed up in your Heinz 57 theology that you could’ve been the inventer of Heinz 57 Ketchup! I’m consistent in my teaching; you’re all over the place. You’ve got so much SDA teaching mixed up in your Calvinism and Armenianism, etc., that it’s hard to find a solid Bible teaching in your dogma anywhere! You and I will ALWAYS disagree because your statement of faith is a patchwork mess, gleaned from many other online sites that are as Scripturally unsound as your statements on this particular blog today.

Don’t be making foolish statements like those above, and expect me to “stay home”! I’ll be out and standing up for the Word ASAP!

Forgive me, folks, if I’ve repeated myself in places! I’ve spent hours working on this, and it is almost 1 a.m.. It’s starting to all look the same to me now!
