What is included with our venue rental:

Can we use outside vendors for our event?

YES. You may use any licensed and insured professional for your event, except for the Bar and Beverages which is run by NOVA. So feel free to use your own professional caterer, planner, Wedding DJ, Officiant and so on. Or choose one of NOVA’s proven pros fro our Preferred Vendors List.

Are you ADA Accessible?

YES

Can you offer coat check?

YES

Can you provide live music and entertainment?

YES. We welcome and can provide most all types of entertainers – musicians, singers, performers, etc.

Can you provide private rooms?

YES

Do you allow outside beverages?

NO outside beverages, alcoholic or nonalcoholic, may be brought in.

Do you carry General Liability insurance?

YES

Do you have a kitchen on-site?

YES. NOVA 535 is equipped with a modern catering kitchen, consisting of Commercial Ice Machine, Large Convection Oven, Commercial Coffee Makers, Dishwashers, Multiple Prep Areas, 3-Comp Sinks and easy load/unload alley access.

Do you have a liquor license?

YES. NOVA 535 has a full liquor license and can also sell bottles to go.

Do you have HDTVs?

YES. We have multiple HDTVs perfect for watching videos, films, cable TV, sports, YouTube, etc. and for playing video games, streaming the internet.

Do you have High-Speed Wireless?

YES

Do you have linens?

You rent linens from NOVA or bring your own, your choice.

Do you have on-site catering?

We allow catering flexibility so you can use any proven professional licensed and insured caterer: Here are some of our PREFERRED CATERERS:

YES. We offer FREE parking across the street in two lots, FREE street parking, as well as valet service during your event.

The are provided through your caterer, or rented from NOVA, your choice.

Do you have valet parking available?

YES. We offer parking in a lot, street parking, as well as valet service (available for additional fee)..

Do you offer Outdoor Facilities?

YES. NOVA offers TEN spacious, luxurious restroom suites for your changing comfort. Voted “Top 10 Restrooms in USA”.

Does NOVA host more than one event at a time?

NO. There is only one one event that happens at a time so we are solely focused upon you and your guests. There are no strangers or uninvited guests milling about as with hotels and most venues. Here at NOVA it’s all about you and your guests.

How large is NOVA 535?

7,000 sq. ft inside and an additional 4,000 sq.ft outside.

How many guests can you seat?

Seating for up to 350 guests dining inside.

Seating for up to 450 Dining inside & out.

350 Seated for meetings, awards parties, ceremonies or film screenings

500 Cocktails inside.

800 Cocktails inside & outside.

Intimate Dining in our Upstairs VIP for up to 80 guests.

How many restrooms do you have?

Is NOVA available for wedding ceremonies? Commitment Ceremonies?

YES and YES.

Is Outside Catering permitted?

YES. All food MUST be provided by a licensed & insured vendor.

May we decorate NOVA 535?
YES. NOVA 535 is a gorgeous, unique and magnificently finished venue that must be seen in person to truly appreciate. Most of our clients find little to no decorating is necessary other than flowers, centerpieces and candles.

We do NOT allow any smoke/fog/sparklers inside and the use of sand/glitter/tiny granular objects may incur an additional fee.

** Rent our spacious courtyard and safely enjoy smoke/fog/sparklers outside.

May we hang things from the ceiling rafters?

YES. lightweight lighting and decorations can be hung by properly licensed and insured vendors – subject to NOVA’s approval.

What floor plan options are available?

We have a hundreds of unique floor plan options to meet your needs.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept checks, cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex & online payments.

What is your payment policy?

PAYMENT OPTION #1

NOVA requires a 20% (of the total due) NONREFUNDABLE PAYMENT to book your event. We then calculate your remaining payments by divide the remaining 80% balance over the remaining months until 30-days prior to your event when your final nonrefundable payment is due in full.

Example:

Your event is $10,000.

Initial nonrefundable payment is $2,000 with an $8,000 balance.

Then we calculate the number of months until the “14-Day Prior To Your Even Date”. Let’s say your 14-Day Prior to Event Date is 10 months away. So $8,000 divided by 10 = $800 per month payment. We set up an automatic billing system (we can accept checks but are trying to be as GREEN as possible so please help us) that deducts your monthly payments. Easy easy, one less thing to worry about.

PAYMENT OPTION #2

NOVA requires a 20% (of the total due) NONREFUNDABLE PAYMENT to book your event. We calculate Five equal payments of 20% with the final 20% due on or before 30-days prior to your event.

Example:

Your event is $10,000.

Initial nonrefundable payment is $2,000 with an $8,000 balance.

$10,000 divided by 5 = $2,000 So you have four remaining payments of $2,000 after you’ve paid your initial 20%. We set up an automatic billing system (we can accept checks but are trying to be as GREEN as possible so please help us help mother earth) that deducts your 4 payments. Easy easy, one less thing to worry about.

ALL payments are NONREFUNDABLE. Final payment due 30 days prior to your event.

What kind of sound, lighting and video capabilities do you offer?

NOVA 535 comes fully equipped with professional grade, custom designed ‘big-boy” sound, lighting, dance & video systems excellent for parties and corporate presentations alike. Microphones also available.

Our DJ booth is a custom-made floating world-class steel & glass masterpiece.

What type of art do you showcase?

NOVA 535 showcases a cohesive collection of bride friendly art. The artwork remains hanging during all events, however, we do allow one picture to be temporarily removed during an event. To move more than one painting requires an additional removal, storage and rehanging fee of $95 / piece.

What’s the SUPERNOVA Suite?

Our exclusive, private and secure SUPERNOVA SUITE is perfect as a Bridal Suite or as a Green-Room for you high-rolling VIPs. Think of a luxurious International Hotel Room. Accoutrements include the 50″ HDTV and professional surround sound system – just plug in your IPOD and enjoy your favorite music – and our spacious bath with shower, wrapped in gorgeous Italian travertine and granite. The plush and cozy Moroccan style sitting/sleeping room offers comfy audio/visual entertainment and somewhere to put up your feet and rest for awhile.

When can guests arrive?

Public Events: Stated Door Time

Private Events: 15 minutes prior to the official event start time.

When is you final headcount due?

Final headcount is due no later than 30 days prior to your event date.

Why are your restrooms so great?

Each restroom offers a full length custom mirror, solid wood doors, piped-in music, touch-less fixtures, gorgeous Italian Marble and custom granite trim, coat/purse hooks, a place for your drink, double-insulated for your relaxed privacy, makeup lighting, and comfortable spaciousness for your enjoyment.

For weddings these spacious restroom suites are available for the bride & her bride’s maids and the groom and his groomsmen for 3 hours prior to their wedding for ‘get-ready’ time.
