Hello, March and Goodbye to the coldest February on record! Yes, indeed February was cold, I didn’t go out much last month due to the cold, I have discovered that I am now officially afraid of cold temperatures. I also am not a big fan of bundling children up and dragging them around outside.
Last week was was an amazing week as far as food goes! My personal favourite meal has to be the Steak and Brussel Sprout Stir Fry that we had on Friday. Even the kids loved it! It had such an amazing flavour. I wish I had taken a picture of it. It will make its way onto the menu again sometime soon, so next time I will try to remember to take a picture.OH and the Garlic Roasted Chicken Thighs with Carrots and Potatoes was Ah-mazing! I didn’t realize it until I started serving up our plates that our meal was being brought to us by the colour orange, but the act of roasting carrots and sweet potatoes just brings out such a sweet roasted flavour that it didn’t matter that the vegetables were both orange.
This should be another yummy week of food, we celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday on Tuesday, so we’ll be having a delicious gluten free carrot cake that she requested. I’ve never made this recipe before, but the pics make it look so good. I’m hoping it turns out.

Monday – Broccoli Quiche
Tuesday – Garlic Parmesan Wings, Potatoe Wedges and Corn with Carrot Cake for desert
Wednesday – Pancakes
Thursday – Chickpea Tikka Masala
Friday – Quesada Home Edition Taco Kit
Saturday – Leftovers
Sunday – Pizza
