Morning Kids!

Can you believe that Christmas Day is a week on Sunday?  The festive events are continuing to come in thick and fast – so far, as you can see in the Quick Recap section, there are ten NYE events on the calendar for you to choose from!  Next week’s post (December 21st) is the final post of 2016, so if you’re an event organiser, please submit details of your event now to be included!

Here are the latest Bermuda happenings which have been added to the calendar since last week’s post.  As always, don’t forget to check out the Quick Recap Section at the bottom of the post for a full listing of all upcoming events, including those previously covered in previous posts.

If you like bar-hopping and you enjoy running, then there is no reason why you wouldn’t enjoy doing both, so you are invited to lace it up and come pub run at the Thirsty Thursday 5K Pub Run Series on Thursdays, December 15th, January 19th and February 16th.

Thirsty Thursday is a monthly social run/walk from a different local watering hole from 6pm on the third Thursday of each month. Participants gather from 5.30pm for sign-in, then participants run or walk 5K at their own pace, socialise and enjoy a drink and prizes.  The first 50 people to sign in will receive a free drink.

Upcoming Pub Run locations will be Docksider on Thursday, December 15th, Muse on Thursday, January 19th, and the Grand Finale at a surprise location on Thursday, February 16th.  Locations are subject to change.

You can also get rewarded for runnin’ and drinkin’ with the Pub Run Loyalty Program presented by Sportseller Ltd and Asics.  The rewards depend upon how many events you run.  One time participants will receive a $10 Sportseller Gift Card, three-time participants will receive an Asics premium sock (value $21), six-time participants will receive an Asics clip-on light (value $28), nine-time participants are eligible for an Asics/Sportseller running tee, tank or hat (value $32-$34), and participants who complete 12 consecutive runs are eligible for an Asics running shoe (maximum value $158.50).
