Happy Hump Day, Folks!

I have just been cheered up by the realisation that there is a public holiday for Good Friday next week – can’t believe I completely forgot until now, especially since it’s one of the nicer public holidays.  I guess I’d better get started on making my kite, and also on buying a real kite for when my home-made kite ends up a hot mess.  If you’re looking for Bermuda Easter weekend events, you’ve come to the right place – and the summer events are starting to come in too…

Bermuda College will be supporting Hospitality Month in April with the focus of its Spring 2014 Lecture Series entitled, Who Needs Tourism?!! on Wednesday, April 9th at 7pm in the North Hall Lecture Theatre.  Panellists will comprise Bermuda Tourism Authority principals David Dodwell (Chairman), Bill Hanbury (CEO) and Karla Lacey (COO).  The evening forum will be facilitated by the College’s business and hospitality lecturer, Dr. Barbara O’Shaughnessy, who is also Chair of the Visitor Industry Partnership (VIP) initiative.  This event is free and open to the public.  For more information, contact Evelyn James Barnett, Communications Office at Bermuda College at 239-4006 or ebarnett@college.bm.
