Morning Kids!

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Event promoters, just to give you plenty of prior notice, please make sure you submit details of your events well in advance of the Christmas and New Year break.  Since they fall on my usual publishing days of Wednesday this year, it doesn’t make sense to get a post out those two weeks.  This means that the last post of 2013 will be published next week and the first post of the New Year will be on Wednesday, January 8th.

Don’t panic if you can’t get everything finalised in time as you can still submit your event directly to the calendar as usual.  I will still be reviewing and approving submissions during this period so they will still appear on the calendar – they just won’t appear on the Blog section.

Anyway, there are lots of Bermuda events to enjoy this festive season, so here’s the latest roundup:

To coincide with this year’s Sleeping Beauty pantomime, Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society (BMDS) is also hosting Fairytale Land in the parking lot at Daylesford Theatre from Thursday, December 5th until Saturday, December 14th.  You are invited to bring your family and join the fun from 6pm on weekday evenings and 1pm on weekends.  There is no cover charge and you will have the opportunity to purchase food and games, photos with Santa and more.  For more information, contact diva@bmds.bm.

Attilio Morelli, Pastor of St. Michael’s Church is hosting a Bible Class on the Last Four Things on Wednesday, December 11th.  Starting at 7.30pm, this class on the end of our life includes Death, Judgement, Hell and Paradise, offering a fresh biblical look. This is open to all. For more information, contact stmichaels@logic.bm.

Santa Claus is coming to Queen Street on Friday, December 13th and you are all invited to join the fun at his Christmas Bash at Daisy and Mac, and Daisy’s.  Keep an eye out from 5pm, as Santa will be making his rounds through the City of Hamilton on a fire truck.  Children and adults on the Nice list who see Santa and his elves might receive candy canes as well as good cheer!  Santa will then finish up in Daisy’s, on the floor above Daisy and Mac in the Bermudiana Arcade. Their little elves will be very busy taking free photos of your child with Santa, handing out gifts and Christmas candy.  Both Daisy and Mac and Daisy’s also promise amazing in-store savings that night.  For more details, contact marketing@queenmgt.com.
